The Green Bottle Cafe — Restaurant in London

I was expecting a great service . Then I received a rushed breakfast aswell as a shocking experience.

Hate to leave negative reviews however customers should know what they’re walk into . I should be leaving a 1 star reviews but don’t want to affect this man’s “hard work” as it looks local and looked after .

Not happy at all. Felt I didn’t receive a good service aswell as not receiving a plate that wasnt adequate of charging £6.85

I personally do not like leaving poor reviews but I feel this experience needs to be shared .

There were a few red flags

Vegan bacon not on the menu - due to no delivery yet at 7:35am

Wasn’t explained before hand what the alternative was - I did mention just swap the scrabbled egg for the turkey bacon - he then mentioned ok I out the egg on toast and tomato on the side

Coming to pay was a shock as wasn’t expecting over £5 for bread egg and tomato WITHOUT a drink . Tried to justify by exposing the price breakdown. Which wasn’t justified

All in all I won’t be back and I suppose my customers wouldn’t be welcome back either

I run my own business and have over 300+ 5 star reviews . I explained this and showed the owner of the cafe myself which he then responds I’ve been doing this 4+ years .i wasn’t even going to tell him about my 10+ years in hospitality aswell as a level 2 qualified chef .

All in all , Don’t be sold by the green/vegan promotions , yhh they promote this but do they have it in stock .

My spirit was telling me to walk away from when I had to wait 3 mins for someone to come out from the back as they was the chef/front of house.

Review: Disappointing Experience with Misleading Deal

I visited this cafe after seeing their 50% off deal on the TasteCard app, which I found quite a while ago. Unfortunately, upon arriving, I was told they no longer accept this card. If they aren’t honoring the offer, I don’t understand why they haven’t requested to be removed from the app—it’s misleading for customers.

The atmosphere was calm and comfortable, staff did not rush me to order but waited till I was ready, which I really appreciated.

Food came in quickly and was still hot and fresh when served, the toast can be customised to your heart‘s desire which is a feature most Cafes don’t provide. I am usually a very slow eater but the staff did not mind whatsoever, even during busy times when all the tables were taken.
