I had not been to the Harrow for a few years until 25 August 2022. My friend and I had trouble finding it and were wondering if it had closed down but just before giving up we spotted a small crowd down the hill and thought that might be a pub. In fact it was the pub we were looking for! The Harrow we found out was comprehensively refurbished in 2017. It is a Fuller's pub so they sell London Pride, Dark Star Hophead. Also Tiny Rebel is currently a guest beer. There is usually something to eat here, in fact there is a more formal restaurant upstairs and it would be advisable to enquire beforehand for the latter. Read moreHad a disappointing experience at The Harrow last night. The wrong starters were served and had to be sent back, and then then 3 out of 4 of the mains were wrong. We were left very confused about why there had been so many mistakes.
This would have been okay had there been a simple apology - but we were left feeling that we had been blamed for the mix up. Read moreThis Grade II listed pub is located just south of Fleet Street; it’s main entrance on Whitefriars Street and its rear on Primrose Hill. Built in the early 18th century, it was originally two houses.
Having been closed for some time, it was leased from Fullers and reopened in November 2021. Following a further COVID-19 lockdown in December, these are still early days for the new tenants but Linda, the Peruvian Manager, is working hard to restore its fortunes.
