The Lockdown Room is perfect for those who live in East London. It’s a casual venue ideal for taking a group of friends or a date. They offer the standard array of cocktails but the real kicker is the Taiwanese street food on offer from Bian Bian. 😎

The food is expcetionally well priced with starters from a few pounds to just £6 for probably the best rice box I have ever had. Sadly it tasted so good I couldnt get any pictures. 🙃

I started with the Taiwanese popcorn chicken which was perfectly seasoned, each bite was full of flavour. The bao was up there with some of the better baos I’ve had and at £5, it’s well priced for London. 💸

The rice box was truly incredible, I opted for the cheapest Pork Ragu rice box and I can’t say I’ve had anything better. It was so fragrant and tasty I wanted to go back for seconds. 🤤

The Lockdown Room offers a vast array of cocktails, I went for a mojito which I find can be a bit hit and miss. But this one was very good, full of flavour and you could actually taste the mint! 🍵

I would like if they had some unique cocktails but at least they have all the classics. Cocktails were priced very reasonably at £8! 😍

The Lockdown Room is located on London City Island which means crossing a big red bridge, quite romantic dare I say. 😜 It’s perfect for those who live in the East.

This hidden gem on "Canning Town City" is a friendly delicious place to enjoy Mexican flavours.

The smash burger was by far the winner! Alongside some really hospitable and good vibe staff.

My husband says this could be one of his most fave smash burgers in fact.

The tacos weren't as flavoursome but a good amount of chicken to for me to feel full.

The mexican seasoning French fries are crispy to melting potato yummy! We do love good French fries and these are up there.

The churros. Oh my fave dessert. But lacking in sweetness and softness. Something wasn't hitting the spot, but we demolished them anyhow

The location allows you to catch the sunset wrays whilst enjoying a drink from a wide selection of choices.

And this is a dog friendly spot so lots of very cute doggy visitors too!

I'd definitely come back with the kids to make use of the board game selection in the...

Celebrated our engagement party in this amazing venue, and honestly had the bestest night!!!

Anna, the manager, was so easy to communicate with and made it so easy for us to organise anything we wanted to do.

Our host Saffyia was incredible and sooooo accommodating too and just a lovely person overall, and so caring.

Maria(sorry if I spelt your name wrong) was also just so nice and made sure to check on us if we needed anything. There were a few other amazing bartenders that I unfortunately don’t know the name of but you guys were amazing!

Oh and food and drinks were great! Loved the Mexican menu, the nachos were top notch. There’s so many options on drinks and the bartenders would easily recommend you something to your taste. The venue itself had a rustic vibe and a lovely atmosphere with some lights, AND A FREAKING DISCO BALL 🪩🕺!
