The Oregano Pizza Purley — Restaurant in London

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. We ordered directly from their website for collection. When arriving to collect, saw a flyer on their shop saying the price for the pizza we ordered was £6 less if collected. As we didn't get this offer, we asked why. We were told it didn't apply if you order on their website, only on the phone!!! Really poor. Was disappointed the offer wasn't honoured as we collected and it's quite a large difference. Was particularly bewildered to receive an email saying "thanks for your order on our website - now you won't have to order over the phone anymore" loool. Absolutely ridiculous. Hate businesses that try these little scams (we were even told that they couldn't honour the deal as they had to pay commission on website sales 😒). Anyway, suffice to say if you're collecting, order on the phone and beware the potential shifty behaviour! We've ordered from Oregano Pizza Shop countless times over the past year since discovering it, and every experience has been great. Their consistent quality, flavourful pizzas, and friendly service keep us loyal customers. When it was time to celebrate my son's first birthday, it was only natural to choose Oregano for the party. They didn’t let us down, the pizzas were a huge hit with all our guests, and the staff made the pre-ordering process smooth and stress-free and were even happy to take on a special request which was a gluten free Vegan pizza (which isn't on their menu).

I also want to extend a special thanks to the staff member who delivered the pizzas. When he saw me struggling to match each pizza to the pizza labels that i made for the occasion, he kindly stayed back to help me organise all 17 correctly. I highly recommend Oregano for any special occasion or just a casual...

AVOID this place! I ordered from here with an estimated delivery time of 1 hour, I waited about 10 minutes after they were supposed to have arrived before I decided to call the restaurant and ask for an eta. A guy answered and I tried to explain the situation to him but he kinda cut me short and promised that it's on its way and should be there any minute, I said okay thank you. All in all I waited a further 40 mins whilst trying to call them 4 times with no answer from them. I have no doubt in my mind they had no Intention of delivering my order to me. Avoid these scammers at all cost unless you like your time wasted. Waited over 2 hours and they didn't even show up...pathetically...
