The Potting Shed at Boston Manor Park — Restaurant in London

A simple menu of mostly toasties and baguettes, and a salad. The salad was very fresh and tasty, and a good quantity too. The service was very friendly and helpful. Drinks came very quickly and they have a good coffee blend. The salad did take quite a long time to arrive, I think as there were several orders placed just before mine which required cooking. Overall I would recommend trying here and there is a great play area right next to it.

I was back again today, June 2025 and it is still great .. there are lots of people who go there, so you need to be prepared for a wait, the food was absolutely brilliant again, I had the hot honey halloumi wrap...

Visited this cafe many times and enjoyed it, except at weekends. Stood at the serving hatch waiting for half an hour wait for a club sandwich and a coffee, with not even an apology for the wait time, just the sandwich thrown down in front of me.

Looking at some other reviews, the owner sadly tends to get a bit defensive saying things like "we're not a starbucks", etc. This might be true, but if you're in the hospitality industry and want your business to thrive, a change in attitude is needed. If staff know they're overstretched they should advise customers of a long wait time...

Understaffed and some staff surly on their busiest Saturday morning. No sense of urgency and waited 50 minutes for my order after appearing three times to see where it was. Tea was provided without milk. A family outside had waited over thirty minutes for a cheese sandwich. I had to inform the previous customer that their granola had been prepared and was sitting on the side as I stood waiting. Staff apologised and said they had forgotten my order. After three appearances from me?? Such a shame the staff don’t have the enthusiasm to make this...
