Not sure where to start, so let’s start with the cocktails: good and creative range...but small and overpriced. Which is apparently the policy in this establishment. So to resume it: basically if you want you can order the jersey potatoes: you will get exactly 2, yes 2, 2 inches boiled jersey potatoes cut in wedges for ...£10 yes £10. I have been to many restaurants including Michelin star and never I had paid that for this little amount of potatoes. Pricing is just ridiculous so if you are hungry just don’t bother. So all in all for 3 persons you looking at £155 without being outrageous with the drinks and obviously you are leaving hungry which I always hated when you spend that amount of money. And again food is not that creative and you think it’s a great business plan to sale potatoes with those kind of margins or to put a filet fish on a plate after you divided in 3 this is how tiny the portions are. Looks good not that amazing except if you happy to make the owner richer by ripping you off. PS: picture of a 6cm by 4cm piece of fish ( in the share platter section ) for £12.....

Was introduced to the place a week ago and gotta say - very impressed! The place has this cosy, intimate vibe with a few small tables in the front, which is great for dates, but there’s also some bigger space for bigger get togethers in the back. We tried marinated olives (delicious product), empanadillas (perfect crispiness), croquettas de manchego (sooo nice and creamy inside), bavette steak (fire!), roasted fennel (liked the nutty finishing A LOT) and finished it all off with some really hot oxtail nuggets. Especially the latter were something to write home about. Actually, everything was, including delicious cocktails and very professional yet friendly staff <3 (thank you so much Alfie and Claudia!). I hope I’ll be able to drop by again sooner than later!

Massively underwhelming. £50 a head and we left hungry. Some of the food was tasty for sure but it's overpriced for the size of the portions and some dishes are definitely experimentation for the sake of it. £3.50 for a few slices of cucumber that were literally just sitting in green cucumber-flavoured water was not a good start. The mussels tasted amazing, but weren't hot when they arrived and a bit of bread (or anything tbh) to mop up the lovely sauce was badly needed.

They were out of the wine we ordered (the cheapest bottle is £28) so to their credit offered us the more expensive bottle for the price of the one we ordered. But the service was REALLY bad and slow even for a relatively busy Friday evening. We were charged for 4 bottles of wine (we actually ordered three, but one never arrived) and 4 cans of beer (we ordered 2).

A couple of other moans... Why aren't the menus printed on paper? It's too dark to read the blackboards so we ended up hunched around photos on our phones. And the toilet graffiti isn't cool - it's crass and borderline offensive.

The obligatory 12.5% service charge felt like a slap...

If i could rate 0 stars i would. I came with a friend on a Friday evening and at first it was a pleasant experience, until the waitresses started to make us feel uncomfortable and make huge hints for us to leave. We had just finished with our drinks and we kept getting asked if we wanted the bill… we said no as we wanted to stay longer and the shop didn’t close until 10pm (is was 9:15 at this point). The waitress still came back seconds later with a card machine. We said we just said we are okay and she left and then came back AGAIN seconds later. She said this time, we HAD to pay anyways. We were so confused as we hadn’t even received a receipt or anything stating how much we are even paying. We felt so uncomfortable so we payed there and then and then left. But the whole experience was horrible. I still haven’t received my receipt (had to ask them again before we left for it and they said they’d send it via email). It felt racially coded and was very upsetting. We just wanted a lovely evening out. Definitely not recommending this...
