Hello,
My name is Amedeo and I am a devoted customer to Mamma Dough Brixton. Ask Christian, the pizzaiolo, or any of the staff there. I religiously buy a Mischievous pizza every other week and have been doing it for a few years now, since I moved into a flat 5 minutes from the pizzeria in 2018. The reason I am writing to you is to complain about the size of your pizza. It’s been a few months now that I noticed that your pizza has shrunk. The pizza’s crust used to rub against the box’s borders and now it is at least 1 1/2 centimetres narrower. Like all major stores and corporations who either shrink their product or remove a few biscuits from the package, Mamma Dough seems to have decided that a way to save money in stuffings and sauces is to shrink the size of their pizza’s area. I find this new development deplorable. Your pizzas are delicious because the dough is thin and crisp and well cooked. Shrinking the pizza has made is chewier and thicker. I would like to receive an explanation from your director, CEO or whomever you choose as to why you have decided to shrink the pizza. I am thinking of stopping my support of your business and look for another place where to get my fortnightly pizza. By the way, stopping to support your business will make me sad as your staff have all been exemplary in welcoming me into their restaurant and making me feel loved, one pizza at the time.

Ordered from Deliveroo and I was advised delivery would be within 15 mins.
Waited 20 mins before calling the restaurant, the person picked up and asked for my postcode and before I even finished telling him, he advised it was sent 5 mins ago.
Waited a further 30 mins before contacting Deliveroo, which they said wait 7 mins and it'll arrive. Waited nearly an hour and the food arrived stone-cold and not even edible. I contacted deliveroo again and they spoke with the restaurant, and they were told the order was made multiple times and no refund.
Absolutely shocking customer service and a restaurant that doesn't take accountability. In times such as COVID-19 impacting businesses, I'm surprised they behaved in this way.
I really hoped they would have offered a better solution, now unfortunately I have to raise this with my credit card company. The restaurant won't even say the food was delivered so I can't leave a review but have taken the payment.
I hope the owners read this, this will be the first and last time I order from here again. The food I can't comment about since its not edible.
Unfortunately it doesn't give me an option to share the images I have taken of the food, it looks and felt it was refrigerated prior to delivery. I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Do not recommend this place at all, stay away and order from other...
Read moreLongtime customer unlikely to bother coming back after my recent experience. The pizza was nothing like the mama dough recipe from circa 2015-2018, and im guessing the chef must have moved onto newer pastures. Sadly with drinks, the rioja tasted like watery vinegar, the waiter failed to provide a replacement beverage, instead he suggested the dud-wine be decantered into the glass of a fellow guest, which I found to be kinda concerning in terms of the restaurants practice. Secondly, my normal pizza option had also vanished from the menu only to have been replaced with a topping that was quite frankly unpalatable, had to leave the remainder on the side. Ultimately, it paled in comparison to the quality of its predecessor and past ingredients, also thought it seemed more doughy when compared to the classic thin mama dough base. The atmosphere was busy, however like many restaurants in the area it seems to have become a shadow of its...
