The service personnel were very accommodating although it was confusing whether you need to order at the counter or at your table. When we arrived, there was no designated front of house to assist, although one of the kitchen staff immediately helped us to be seated to one of the tables. The restaurant is quite open, (front doors all open which allowed the noise from the street to flood the place- since it is close to the hospital, having ambulance passing through with doors opened can be very loud) although I think they had a delivery to sort out today. Menu is very varied, a lot of choices offered but could be made better with pictures of the items so customers can easily choose what they wanted. Price is a bit expensive but we are in London so that is expected. We tried the crispy salmon roll, mixed sashimi platter, red dragon roll and tuna poke bowl. The red dragon roll was very tasty, sashimi platter has good serving size (10 pieces of good thickness), tuna poke bowl was really filling with the dressing complementing the ingredients very well. We kind of did not like the crispy salmon roll since the flaked salmon is quite dry. The staff were so pleasant as they gave us complimentary mochi ice cream after our meal. Might come back again to try the...

I recently had a Birthday party for my 10 year old at The Sushi Co in Lewisham and it was absolutely amazing. I requested if they could do a sushi making class where the kids rolled their own sushis and then got to eat them after and they agreed to this. It was the first time they had done something like this in that branch but I was very impressed by how professionally they ran the class and got the kids involved. It was a very relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to finish by a certain time. They even surprised us with a cake for my 10 year old which was so sweet of them. The staff went an extra mile for us and all the kids left the party with big smiles, a new skill and more than enough sushi for later. Thank you to all the staff that got involved in making my daughter's party a huge success. I definitely recommend The Sushi Co if you are thinking of taking sushi lessons or having a unique birthday party like we did - just give them a call or go see them at...

Just wondering if you train people to be rude and hanging up the phone? All I was trying to ask Lewisham branch if they could alter the date for 2 tickets on12th to the 15th September for my birthday. I had an operation but clearly don't care. I didn't shout but yet I ask for a manager he hangs up. Call again same rubbish. Seems like having an operation to save me is the issue. I don't like rude ignorance, if you can't do the job find someone else. Mental health is real and so are we have respect and say it politely. I'm out off completely how you giving me the wrong email after I read it back to you twice. Why did you hang up when I asked for your name? I told him I had an operation he's reply ( we close at 11) this is the kind of mocking you do? Also thanks for ruining me birthday not that Lewisham cares. You should hire people who knows how to speak to people. Thanks so showing...
