The menu is entirely misleading, giving you the option of various breakfasts for about £10 OR a £30 unlimited brunch which is supposed to include unlimited toast, spreads, tea, coffee and juice. However for the "unlimited" brunch there was no bread left, no coffee left, no knives, no napkins, no plates for the toast, no no cups and the woman serving our able actually made the birthday girl of our group cry!!! It was truly remarkable. One of our group doesn't drink alcohol as part of his faith, but the waitress refused to allow him to pick someone other than the £30 brunch with unlimited Buck's Fizz - she told him that he's evidently not pregnant and obviously chancing it, ordering him too to pay £30 simply to just keep the peace and ensure our birthday girl enjoyed herself. The woman even came back to us to say "I'm sorry that you got confused about the menu earlier" to which I simply had to grit my teeth and avoid a response. They also forgot the birthday girl's meal. The bingo as entertainment was okay and did make us laugh, but too loud. Don't do the brunch, the rest of the pub is good.

The Four Thieves is rocking! A most joyous experience for all - The Four Thieves offers arcade games from your childhood in a carefree atmosphere. I was concerned by some of the other reviews I had read prior to arriving at the venue regarding the security staff, however I would suggest they are reasonable and thorough. I will also add to this point, that I arrived 1.5 hours late and the staff could not have been more welcoming, kind and accommodating. The moonshine raceway is great fun, even if your skills on the track are as nonexistent as mine and the commentary from the staff are charming and hilarious. I really enjoyed the critter racing and ice hockey table too. The vegan pizza we ordered had a delectable wood-fired flavour. I had a really fun night and the only thing I can fault is that it was a little noisy in there. But I also think that noise is a symptom of a good night. Would recommend for bachelor parties, work events, dates, or even just a quick drink.

Great spot - venue is very spacious and has a decent sized garden. Lots of fun games to try out including VR games, RC car racing, and your more typical arcade games. All in all had a very enjoyable evening, although some of the arcade games are very expensive (+£2 for less than 5 minutes of playing in some cases). Drinks were reasonably priced for the area but definitely not cheap. They served food but I can't comment as I didn't have any - a friend said the pizzas are pretty decent. Staff was very friendly and chatty. The venue also had a gig playing but I didn't hear this at the time - definitely good to hear that there's live music too. Would make for a cute date night - highly recommend (I'd start at the tiki bar nearby first, then proceed to the games after a couple of drinks).

For us it's a NEVER AGAIN!!!

Would not recommend. Staff was incredibly rude. We were appalled by the staffs' behaviour, specifically the manager Carlie (or something similar). She treated my friends and I at my birthday gathering terribly after a misunderstanding with the order booking. On the phone I had understood that the some drinks were included with booking, so when I requested for these there was no problem they had even offered an additional one. After giving them to us, as we half way through them and mid way through our pitcher this lady comes and grabs the pitcher and threatens to take our drinks away because apparently we were not entitled to them. We tried to meet them half way (i acknowledged that maybe I misinterpreted something but their staff had also made an error) but she was out for blood. Why not tell us this before you gave us the drinks added an extra and watched us start drinking them?!? Their reaction was one the most bizzare hostile experiences i've had on a night out. Really quite shocking customer service, especially when they acknowledged that it was their staffs mistake and it was during a birthday celebration. She said it was also because the business was struggling during the pandemic - yes, and we are one of the very few clients you have atm so you should be appreciating that. Because they are well-known I think they just think they can get away with doing whatever they want. Very strange evening at a place we thought would be quite fun. A lot of people had mentioned that staff there can be quite rude but wasn't expecting that level of disrespect. I'm sorry to have to write this review (I never write reviews tbh) but it was just extremly upsetting behaviour on their part. No apology from them, no...

I came here for a friend's birthday on a Saturday night. We had food and drinks first downstairs which was fine although expensive. The chicken I had was dry. Also, they encourage you to order by QR code on the table, but there is a booking fee for doing so. You are a couple of quid better off just going to the bar and ordering in person.

The upstairs gaming area is a great idea, but was simply too busy, with too few members of staff working. It took a while to get served at the bar and alcohol was expensive.

Many of the games were not working properly, mainly the golf game which was not dispensing golf balls correctly. One of the games advertises a prize for winning, which other machines were doing, but failed to give the prize. I asked the staff whether they could get us a prize, who stated they didn't know how to do so and that they would try to find somebody to sort it. They quickly went back to what they were doing and forgot about it.

Whilst not really about the prize, we had spent quite a few quid in there and felt that we should chase it up out of principal. It was so busy upstairs that we now couldn't even see any staff, who don't wear a uniform or have any way of identifying them.

Eventually, we went downstairs to the bar and a bar lady then came up with me to re-approach a staff member. This was a different staff member, who again tried to fob us off, but I stood firm and they magically found two prizes right underneath their desk.

I would not return. I've been to the same place in Brighton which was...

Visited this place on a Friday night. This is a great place to go if you want entertainment beyond the standard drinking/dancing! There's a pub-style area on the ground floor which was pretty empty with overly loud music, and upstairs is a huge games area. Most of them are arcade machines which were difficult to understand how to play 2-player (some instructions would be useful, I was completely sober and struggling!). There's also a sizeable toy car racing track which you enter through an organised ticketing system, which is fun.

The games are pretty pricey for a single go - especially as some of them are over in 30 seconds. However, you can pay with contactless which is convenient.

The only reason I'm docking 1 star is because I feel the toy car racing is a little rigged. Despite pressing on the accelerate pedal, my car would not move for a good 5-6 seconds; others would be very responsive. When I told the staff member operating the track about this, he said he'd check the car, but I saw he never did: I think he was relying on the fact I'd be too drunk to notice (I didn't drink). When I went for a second go, I asked if he had fixed it, and he said there was nothing wrong with it, when there definitely was. It's just a game, but can frustrate people and lose you customers!

Would recommend this...
