🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Tasty food, sincere service and a charming atmosphere. When we arrived, my girlfriend and I were greeted with a warm smile and instinctively shown to a desirable table that was away from other diners and not beside the window. For our starters, everything we ate was fresh and flavourful. The poppdum chuntneys were prepared recently and the onion bhajis were hot and crispy. For the mains we enjoyed a Veg Phall and Chicken Korma. The vegetables in the Phall were chunky and the spice in the was exactly as it should be - Extra HOT! The korma was thick and creamy with the perfect amount of coconut. At the end of our meals we were given hot wet towels, fresh orange and chocolate. A perfect touch to leave us even more satisfied. After that Khan even brought over a complimentary shot of Bailey's and Brandy for us! Throughout our evening in Blossoms, the service of both Khan and MR was attentive and not at all overbearing. They were both engaging, warm and sincere. Blossoms was very clean and had an attractive, flowery, fairy light aestheic which gave us a comforting dining experience - which is ideal for photos too! The toilets were stylish and clean too. Its clear alot of thought and effort have gone into all aspects of this restaurant and the outcomes have left us delighted. Everything on the menu was priced well and we were more than satisfied with the bill. A fantastic evening. 5 stars are easily deserved! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Blossoms by Khan. I have been meaning to dine here but the location and timing is difficult which was a tell tale sign that it would not turn out to be good because when I make an effort to place that I normally can't visit something is always wrong. To be fair, it wasn't bad but the lamb could have been softer. Food took ages to arrive even though I ordered at 5ish when the restaurant was empty but was told it was due to online orders which were placed at 16:30 but the restaurant opens at 17:00. The pomegranate garnishing was probably an insult to the dish as they were not that fresh or ruby red in colour. Last but not least, the meal would have been better if they didn't offer the after eights which looked like they have been passed around many times judging by the paper where they are creased while one of the pockets on top was split on the side.

I was recently taken here by my family to celebrate my birthday. It was my first time, but definitely won't be my last. It's relatively small, but a beautiful setting. The music might not be to my taste, but the food most definitely was. The presentation, the flavours and the satisfaction it gave was ab fab. I'm one for spice, but spice with flavour and the food here undoubtedly delivered it in abundance. On top of that, the owner (Mr. Kahn) and his staff delivered fantastic, friendly, helpful service. If you want good, flavoursome, authentic tasting Indian food then you really need to pay this restaurant a visit. You will not be disappointed.

I was actually quite shocked by the service/quality of food we got from here, after reading the reviews me and my girlfriend were excited to try what seemed to be a hidden gem. Firstly the service left a lot to be desired, when we arrived I walked in to ask to sit down and barely got a response, when my girlfriend asked for a glass of tap water she was told she could only have still/sparkling bottles of water, denying a customer a glass of tap water is illegal but we are not pedantic people so we still looked forward to our meal. The starters were actually decent even though the portion sizes left A LOT to be desired.

I ordered the lamb shank for my main dish, after the tandoori chicken being cooked so well I was very excited to try the lamb, sadly it wasn’t up the scratch whatsoever. Some parts were cooked nicely but other parts were either undercooked or very very overdone. The presentation for the lamb was awful too, it was just thrown on a mountain of vegetables with a sauce all over it, I did not look good at all. The bread I ordered was terrible, the nan bread was underdone and in some parts the dough was raw.. the roti simply wasn’t roti.. it was over cooked and hard and it had absolutely 0 flavour. The rice was fine but then I guess if you can’t do rice correctly then you have big problems.

My girlfriend ordered the king prawn curry, she said the sauce was tasty but the prawns were not good quality and tasted old. Her nan bread by all accounts was fine but all other aspects of the meal were a big let down.

We only seemed to get a smile out of the waiter once we left, when we arrived the place was empty and other restaurants on the street seemed to have no problem attracting customers. Given that, if I owned this business and I was previously empty on a Wednesday night not long after things reopened I would make sure whoever came into my establishment was made feel welcome and looked after. Our bill came to £63 and I asked to pay with card, the gentleman who had been “looking after us”for the evening very bluntly asked for cash and when I told him I had none and nothing was mentioned about cash before he just walked away and grabbed the card machine, then made a point of saying “no service charge, not included.” Very rudely and walked away. To the owners/management I would recommend firstly you don’t get fake reviews as in the long run people WILL find out, probably explains why the people of the local area were not coming here. I work in hospitality myself and I know how hard it can be but your staff really need training in their customer service skills.. we will...

WARNING: FRAUDS!! LOOK OUT FOR THE MANY FAKE 5* REVIEWS!!!! We were tricked into coming to the restaurant by the amazing reviews, and it couldn’t have been more disappointing!! It made me question the validity of the reviews and I was not surprised to find most of them to be fake. Click on 99% of the 5* reviews. The reviewers all have submitted only 2 reviews, which I thought was strange. Click to read those reviews and they are both for Khans Battersea and Khans Epsom! For hundreds of people to have only reviewed their two establishments, and nowhere else, would be a VERY unlikely coincidence...!

Toilets were extremely old fashioned, with a nail brush above the sink, and one single hand towel for all customers to share. Absolutely not adhering to COVID-19 regulations. Menus were visibly dirty- wish we had left the restaurant at this point.

Poppadoms, pickles and starters were tasty- this was the only positive. Ordered two different curries - we are big curry eaters and love spice- we have eaten at a lot of curry houses over the years and can say with full conviction that this was THE WORST curry we have EVER eaten.

Both curries were completely tasteless, with no spice at all, dry meat, chunky hardly cooked onions and peppers. It was appalling. We had ordered our curries to both be spicy, and when we said to the waiter that they were very mild he said “English people don’t like spice so we don’t do them with green chilli so they’re not too hot” This was completely insulting!! Especially when we had asked specifically for them to be spicy.

They also asked to be paid in cash which is not advised at the moment due to COVID-19, despite having a sticker on the door to say they accept all sorts of card types - bizarre. Finally, they won “online chef of the year” last year which they seem to be very proud of. I’m assuming this is solely based on customer‘s online reviews - it’s just so insulting to those restaurants who are working so hard to make fantastic food, and to receive genuine reviews to be up against a diabolical restaurant who give themselves fake reviews.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

(I would never give such a scathing review, but genuinely felt like I was robbed in broad daylight by this restaurant. If a medical practice gave itself fake reviews they would be shut down- I don’t see why a restaurant should be...

Average food. Pretty decor but awkward atmosphere due to miserable and deceitful staff. (But waiter was kind and helpful). Booked for a large group and prior to booking enquired about tastecard. It was confirmed tastecard can be used. Tastecard allows 241 mains for up to 10 people. On the day, they went against their policy on tastecard and only allowed 241 for one person. I would not have booked here if this was stated before. I also didn’t think a company could overrule their agreement with tastecard as and when they wish. Something which we will be speaking to tastecard about. Worst of all, the bill arrived and we were significantly overcharged. The bill was just a piece of paper with some squiggles and a price at the bottom. They didn’t provide us a breakdown of the bill and when we spoke to them about being overcharged they told us that the menus we had been given are actually the old menus and the prices have now increased. For starters this should not be allowed - you cannot allow people to order based on one price and then charge more. You must honour the price advertised. However this proved to be a lie anyway as the in store menu on their website is what we were given in the restaurant. We were deceived and made to pay take away price which is about £2 more per dish and with a large group this meant that the bill accumulated to a lot more than it should have. We definitely won’t be returning. It’s a shame as we gave them so much business being a group of 30 as they are usually rather empty on weekday evenings. Just felt like we had been...
