The Union Chiswick — Restaurant in London

My company, SilverDoor, hired The Union to cater our 170+ guest event and I cannot fault the service we received. The team were incredibly responsive, supportive and knowledgeable in the planning process, and went above and beyond supporting us during the event itself.

We ordered a range of sandwiches, wraps and baguettes, salads, quiches and desserts, all of which were delicious and prepared perfectly. The allergens were clearly stated and confirmed with us beforehand, and the food was presented beautifully. All our guests were blown away by the food!

We also ordered tea and coffee, and The Union provided crockery, cutlery, and all additional things we needed without us even having to ask. The support they provided in the set up and pack down of the catering was a critical part of the success of our event – we really couldn’t have asked for a better event catering service.

Clare, Anna, and Jani were amazingly helpful on the day, and I cannot recommend the team enough for events...

I’ve only been here twice for drinks after work but never tried the food, and I must say it’s delicious!

I had the steak open sandwich and it was delicious! I asked for medium rare, it was a bit overcooked. But the steak was very soft, tender, easy to bite and cut, and well seasoned. It went well with the red cabbage, a bit of horseradish sauce and a tasty piece of sour bread slice on the bottom. I did really wonder what is an open sandwich, when I saw it I thought of bruschetta haha Highly recommend this steak open sandwich!

I had it with a side of sweet potato fries, they were perfectly crispy.

I may have had a little food coma when I went back to work haha

Came here for a function a while back and was impressed with their A/V setup but it seems to be lacking lately. Lots of feedback over the speakers, (speakers buzzing) then they turned them off mid speech... unable to play a video, staff yelling in the background while speeches were on and only one medium projector for a room full of people. However they do make some great finger food and a decent array of drinks to choose from! If they can fix their A/V I'd recommend them.
