The Bollo House — Restaurant in London

We live very locally, just 2 streets away. We used to come here all the time until something changed maybe 12-18 mths ago, not sure if it was a management change or not but the food/atmosphere/service all went a bit downhill when all of the previous team changed over…. Anyway - we decided that we’d give it another go and sadly I don’t think we’ll come back again. The service was terrible, it took 45 mins for our mains to arrive cold. We were watching the door to the kitchen and didn’t really see anyone being served the whole time. Which was from 6m until 6.45pm. So I’m not sure exactly what the kitchen was doing that time. And the cocktails were using some kind of store bought pre mix rather than fresh ingredients, so it was all just a bit average. Was kind of sad that it was empty on a Friday evening. On the plus side I would have thought it would mean the food would have come out quicker but sadly not the case. I know that 45 mins isnt that big of a deal but when you’ve got a hungry youngster waiting to be fed it makes it feel a lot longer, and then it arrives and half of its cold and inedible it’s just a bit...

Best team, best vibe, best service, best food. We planned a party at The Bollo and everything turned out perfect. Been in conversation with Rona for months, planning the perfect party and the whole team delivered! Food was excellent, ordered the platters to share in advanced, they were delicious and presented beautifully, everyone loved it and we even ask to take some back home! The chefs did a brilliant job. The team behind the bar was extreamly friendly, fun, and professional. Lots of people and the team was fast and keeping the good vibes coming our way. They also took care of keeping the place looking good, clean and tidy and making us feel very confortable. Rona was in charge of the whole organisation, we trusted her since the first day we met and everything was even better than we thought it could be. Thank you team for such a great saturday, and for making this celebration better than we could have...

Tucked away from the busy streets and residing next to some residential roads, the atmosphere tends to be relaxed, quiet and the overall look of this pub wasn't too shabby.

We've had lunch a few times here (with our favourites being their sea bass and ribeye steak) but for the price you're paying for, the quality and portions was just lacking as I've tasted much better elsewhere - The Old Pack Horse and Smokehouse Chiswick which are nearby tend to serve tastier variants of these dishes.

The service on the other hand was excellent - polite and friendly staff every time I've visited. I can also see they're one of the pubs that are a bit more active with events and other activities going on since they advertise services for pub quizzes and...
