A Culinary Gem in London for Indian Cuisine I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Indian restaurant in London, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. Let's start with the food. The curries and starters were nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and expertly spiced to perfection. The diverse menu offered a wide range of options, from creamy and indulgent to spicy and adventurous. I couldn't help but savor every bite. The standout for me was undoubtedly the curries. Whether you prefer a rich and velvety butter chicken or a fiery vindaloo, this place has it all. The chef's mastery of spices was evident in every dish, and it's safe to say that these were the best Indian curries I've tasted in London. But it's not just the food that makes this restaurant exceptional; it's also the ambiance. The peaceful atmosphere was a welcome contrast to the bustling city outside. Soft lighting, comfortable seating, and attentive staff contributed to a relaxed dining experience. Whether you're on a romantic date or catching up with friends, this restaurant provides the perfect setting. In conclusion, this Indian restaurant in London is a true gem for anyone seeking an authentic and delightful Indian dining experience. From the mouthwatering curries and starters to the serene atmosphere, it's a place that deserves to be on the top of your must-visit list. I can't wait to return and savor those exquisite flavors once again.

Three others in our little apartment block had already been to this new restaurant, a short walk away, and all enthused about it. We went with two friends and it was nice and lively on a Saturday night. Its predecessor on that site, Leda was much more expensive and was often empty. We started sharing a spinach & onion bhaji and two samosa chaana chaats which were especially good. For mains we had the vegetarian options, tarka daal and achaari aloo plus lamb kadahi (medium hot) and lamb sheek, with basmati and pilau rice. All delicious and reasonably priced and not too heavy (both of us dared get on the scales the next morning!) The lamb and vegetarian dishes were particularly good in combination with each other and the pilau rice was also praised. Talking to the chef/owner as we left he said he was determined to make almost everything from fresh and a friend who'd seen the kitchen was most impressed. That helps explain how interesting and distinctive were all the tastes and also how our stomachs felt just right on leaving, not overwhelmed. The chef, with a Kashmiri heritage, said he would be changing the menu over time but would keep it quite short and would avoid dishes from some regions, eg Rajasthan where they put sugar in most dishes. The restaurant is licenced and the house red we had was fine. Anyway, we have a superb addition to our local dining options. We'll be back, repeatedly over time.

Visited Holy Spice last week for the first time and visited with a number of colleagues, some of whom were visiting from Japan and were looking for an authentic Indian experience. Unfortunately Holy Spice was not the one. So the starters...we had samosa chaat, which was okay, but quite cold, the samosa was should be mashed into the chaat, but was pretty plain and uninspiring. We also ordered the chilli paneer as a starter, which was the best of the bunch, with good paneer (cottage cheese) although was quite a small dish. We also ordered chicken tikka kebab and lamb sheekh kebabs for starters, the lamb was pretty good the chicken was pretty tasteless. For mains we ordered about 8 curries between us, including the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, paneer tikka, a chicken jalfrezi, lamb roganjosh, garlic chilli chicken and lamb kadahi. To be honest they were okay, pretty bland and average if that. The only two that had a bit of taste were the garlic chilli chicken and the lamb kadahi. We even asked the chef to add more chilli and spice to these two dishes when we reordered and still they were pretty bland. A highlight of the meal was the naan breads and the methi roti. The service was good as the staff were attentive and always on hand. The decor and interior is nice and comfortable, but cold and generic. it could do with a bit more indian flavour. I hope the feedback is taken onboard as there is potential.

This is our 3rd or 4th time ordering a takeaway and everything is still just as great as the first time! Management provide the best customer experience I've faced in an indian restaurant in some time as they gave us a complimentary meal on our second time due to a severe delay with the first order. This last order on the 29.12.20 we ordered butter naan, mix veg jalfrezi, paneer palak and my partner ordered Tangy Tandoori Chicken wings starter which he loved! The food tastes fresh and authentic and yes a little rich and oily but this is of course what makes it delicious. Not something we'll order every week to watch out waistlines but simply delicious on an occasion! We also love the complimentary bag of small popodoms every time! Best quality Indian restaurant in and around Isleworth for sure! Really hope they can survive the pandemic. Please order!

Had the pleasure of dining here earlier today for dinner. I really loved the fact that their vegan options were so extensive: a two page separate menu just for vegans. There are many meat substitute dishes which I have my never seen in my visits to Indian restaurants. The option of chickpea based methi roti is such a refreshing change to the traditional naan in the large basket in typical restaurants. I opted for a spinach potato aloo palak and the lentil stew tarka daal and both of these were nice and rich spicy dishes without feeling heavy as vegan cooking should be. Portions are generous here with the chicken biryani which my wife ordered. Our soft spoken waiter was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend, particularly if you need a tasty meal and happen to be staying nearby (we were at the Holiday Inn across the street).

A late Sunday evening meal provided our reviewer with a perfect and unique Indian dining experience. The Tarka Dahl from the main menu was exquisite. The spices are a house speciality and, Ankur, the 'Maître D', proudly explained their origin from South India. The split yellow lentils were 'al dente', not overcooked and just wonderful. The garlic and chillied turmeric sauce, was not too hot, just right, containing two other pulses to provide a beautifully textured base. Our reviewer ordered Garlic Naan to eat with the Dahl. Maybe purists would prefer Chapatis (Roti), but our reviewer chose to go wild with his garlic experience, ordering additional freshly chopped garlic for the Dahl... something with which the 'Maître D' was only too happy to oblige.
