Great food. Great service. Great Atmosphere.

We have visited Tondo regularly since its opening and have never left disappointed. The quality of the food is simply fantastic. You get the classics and very interesting pizzas such as the one with coppa, mozzarella, nduja, and honey. Please try it. You will not be disappointed. From the starters to the desserts, caffè, and ammazzacaffè, the offering is of the highest quality, which is not easy to find in London. This is a true gem; having it in Wapping is great.

The service is top-notch; the staff is always ready to help, answer any questions, and satisfy your reasonable and maybe not-so-reasonable requests. My son asked for a scoop of pistachio on top of a scoop of chocolate - well, I asked for that on his behalf. And they granted this request with a smile on their face. The atmosphere is generally very welcoming, with staff and the rest of the customers creating a very nice vibe. We have always left happy, which is what you expect from a great pizza place. Me and my partner had a lovely time tonight at Tondo in Wapping. A real local gem in the area with fantastic and attentive waiting staff and incredible ambiance.

The highlight of the restaurant has to be the open kitchen area, where the magic of Tondo is on show for all to see. We had the pleasure of seeing the Chef, who was dressed as a giant clock to make his world famous 10pm special. Fireworks, glitter and confetti were all let off on the hour to celebrate the momentous occasion with the Chef throwing delicious olives and slices of pineapple (best topping) into every one of the customers mouths. He then lead the honorary 10pm parade into the streets of Wapping with the whole restaurant following him in song and dance and rejoicing the clock he was dressed as.

I visited this pizzeria when I came to visit London in October, and the experience was just incredible! I had the special pizza with pumpkin (halloween themed) and it was truly delicious; as well as the sweet pizza with chocolate and pistachio spread. the pizza dough is exactly as it should be: thin, soft with a fluffy crust, as you find it in the best Neapolitan pizzerias. the location is also nice, not far from the river and placed in a quite area of wapping. I loved the ambience in the pizzeria! and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, as you expect in an true italian pizzeria. great food, great ambience and great service, I definitely recommend and will come back when in London.
