I’ve never left a review before, but my last couple of experiences at Mooboo were so disappointing that I felt compelled to say something. The bubble teas have been consistently subpar lately — watery, lacking flavour and with tapioca pearls that either seem undercooked or like they’ve been sitting out for too long.
However, the most frustrating part of my visits has been the customer service, particularly from the man who always seems to be working there. The name on the receipt said Naseer, so I’m assuming that’s him. His attitude is shockingly unprofessional. He’s consistently dismissive, rude and seems completely uninterested in helping customers. Every time I’ve interacted with him, it felt like I was inconveniencing him just by ordering. He’s impatient and frankly, unpleasant.
What’s disappointing is that I used to come here quite often, and the service from other staff members was great. There were two women who wore hijabs — one of them wore glasses (though I haven’t seen her in a while) — and another East Asian lady who is also very helpful.
I’ve been to many bubble tea places, and I’ve never encountered someone so unapproachable and off-putting in customer service. Experiences like this really stick with you, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this location. If this is the tone being set by management, it’s no surprise that the overall quality has declined.

Read moreA year ago I wrote if you're in town, this is the place to go for a refreshing delicious drink at really good value for money prices and helpful professional staff. That is still my view. Brilliant place.
I'm editing my comment now as they deserve 20 stars out of 5.
I have some pretty serious health gremlins I sellotape a smile on (we all have our pains and if you don't, enjoy that). Covid lockdown was the biggest snake square in the long ladders game of trying to get anything done about my deteriorating "health". When my body battery was emptying fast by lifts, Mooboo Harrow helped me and not for profit. Facing that "delicious" glucose shot, decision was TEA! and they chose flavours to help and didn't expect me to stand at the till. Brought over to me. I prefer their recovery medicine as it comes with a smile.
For those asking tea isn't glucose, the talking and things helped but it was whilst drinking the bubble tea that I began to improve and after a while and some stretches, got my second wind to carry on. Not saying bubble tea is a medical device but for me it helped genuine problem facing day-ending decisions at beginning of my journey. I am very grateful to Mooboo Harrow for that.
And they really do sell refreshing...
Read moreTwo stars for location. The setup is alright but feels a bit cramped, likely due to limited space. Unfortunately, the quality of their drinks is disappointing, and customer service lacks professionalism. I understand the challenges of managing consistency in a busy setting, but if a drink is so over-steeped it looks more like black tea than oolong, is overly bitter, and practically brimming with concentrated tannins, it would be better for the staff to listen to customer feedback rather than get defensive and insist that "it’s meant to taste like that."
It makes me wonder. Is this their standard, or is there simply no room for customer input? It’s understandable that customer interactions can be challenging, but when you’re charging nearly ten pounds for a couple of cups of tea, it’s fair to expect better quality and value.
Actually now that I think about it it's 1 star because the feedback was totally on deaf ears and it felt like a waste of time,...
