What can I say? I grew up on Christchurch lane, my muckers and I used this cafe back in the 90s, so I have very fond memories of this place.
Fast forward a few years later and I’m taking my partner and two boys (5 and 3 years old) to the very place I used to go.
It did not disappoint, yes I’ve moved on to poached eggs and avocado usually but the full English breakfast was delicious, the options were brilliant and cooked to perfection. The price was actually too cheap in my opinion for what we had, I’ll be happy to pay more for that quantity and quality of food.
The lady that was working there, was so lovely, on her own taking orders and cooking but done everything with care and passion.
I do love a cafe and this is the best one I’ve been in for years, I will definitely be going back.

However I feel like the dishes where generally lacking in seasoning and fat: butter / salt for the omelette, and the hollandaise felt too liquid / not properly emulsified.
