Do Not Eat here! I repeat, do not eat here! This is not an honest business. Worst experience ever. As a local guide who has been in many restaurants, this business is not honest. We were heading back to our hotel and thought we would grab a late night snack. Walked in and decided to sit down. We weren't particularly hungry since we just dinner earlier. So I decided to have a lamb shawarma wrap and my wife would have the falafels. The waiter (maybe the owner or manager with my guess) asking us if that's all we are getting. He looked like as if we are not ordering enough. Then asked if we wanted something to drink. We said just water is fine. He then brought out two bottles of water. We thought that's kind of strange. We then relalized that he is charging us 2 pounds each for the water. I immediately asked him that we don't need bottle water, tap water is totally fine. He then tried to negotiate with me and intend to make me feel that it's only a few pounds. If I want to pay for water or other drinks, I have no problem to pay for it. But you can not force or secretly sneak it in simply because you feel that we haven't ordered enough. So you are trying to capitalize on the tourist who doesn't speak Arabic or whatever other language you speak. As soon as I stood my ground , his attitude completely change. Giving us the looks, ignoring us the entire time. Giving us the bill on the table by practically tossing it. Not a simple thank you even after we have paid. The greeter guy was nice outside and probably the only reason we went in the first place. As we were walking out, the server went out and spoke in his language yelling at the greeter. Not sure what that was for. Not only the service was bad, the food is just mediocre. 4/10 at its best. So if you are looking for bad service and mediocre food, you should definitely come to this...
Read moreI don't usually write reviews, but this time I had to.
We ordered 2 shawarma sandwiches. One of them was chicken and the other mixed. The wrap look really big and nice but upon opening it my chicken was all pink and uncooked, same with my friends.
We let the waiter know and he took it back, however it was the exact same the second time for us both. The hummus we ordered was lacking taste, the bread seemed dry. We went in and spent £15 on hummus and 2 fresh orange juices.
It's sad as Persian cousine is lovely and having had experience in restaurant business for many years, personally, the standards were not met.
I have nothing to say about the service as it was nothing bad nor special. The chicken pieces need to be thinner and more cooked, same goes with meat. I hope this is fixed in future, as uncooked chicken or meat can be...
Read moreVery bad experience, would not recommend at all. Worse customer services from a restaurant ever, staff were rude, unfriendly and created an unwelcoming environment. Food was served incredibly late had to wait for over 30mins+ despite being the only people in the restaurant. Dodgy underground environment which was extremely dark along with annoying loud music playing in the restaurant throughout. Onto the food... EXTREMELY overpriced food. Driest and most plain rice I have ever eaten. Worse sharwama I have ever had, again incredibly plain and dry. I would not recommend this place at all. I've ate a places before where the food was not to my liking but the customer service was good or at worse adequate, which should a given at any establishment. Manners don't cost a thing, disgusting treatment...
