Overall the crepes werenât the worst things Iâve ever had, they were okay. However they reheat crepes and you could really tell they werenât fresh. And considering how much you pay- is it worth it?
However I did not like the staff at all, when I came in I felt like they were complete clueless with how to do their job. They didnât really talk to me or acknowledge me too much.
The crepe was smothered in chocolate which depending on how you feel isnât too bad however my drink came out ages after my crepe- I finished my crepe and they were still making the drink. I got a thick milkshake and it was the tiniest drink ever! Donât get me wrong it tasted fine however fine food doesnât compensate for the service which was by far mediocre at best.
I came here around a year ago and itâs pretty much the same, by the looks of it, it has a reputation of being a bit run-down. Itâs a shame because the actual place is quite nice, the lighting and space is very comfortable. If only the service was good.#
Edit: After seeing the owners disrespectful response ill make sure to tell everyone I know to stay far away from this place! Not only did they reply inaccurately but they had the audacity to insult me? I felt I held back with my original review as I was truly appalled with the disgusting treatment. You can really tell that they are unfriendly, incompetent and totally CLUELESS!!! Why have a business then Judge us for reviewing?!    Read moreThis has been my traditional stop whenever I am in London (proximity to home/family) and it's been something I've taken day visitors (including my wife during a short stop in London) to every time they are laying over en route someplace else from Heathrow. I'd guess I've done this visit maybe fifteen or so times in the past five years. I mean it when I say it's a tradition.
Unfortunately, the most recent visit 19 November 2023 was absolutely dreadful and totally disappointing.
For once, there were three staff on duty on a Sunday morning but they were all over the place (in a bad way) - our order (and other patrons' too) were all mixed up, the staff came and asked sheepishly who ordered X or Y, and no-one claimed it (because no-one ordered it) and they just meandered around asking until eventually placing it on the counter and carrying on with other stuff.
My coffee was tepid by the time it arrived, and I asked for it to be heated up and they just shrugged. It took close to 30 minutes to get a waffle, and by then the coffee was undrinkable.
It was my friend's first time here and I persuaded them to take the detour from Heathrow for what has traditionally been a good experience for day visitors to London but this experience was absolutely dreadful and has made me reconsider doing this again.
Previous staff (prior November 2023) have always been excellent so it might just have been a bunch of new-comers, or trainees, or lazy...
   Read moreAvoidable. Bad experience. The waitress served cold stale waffles straight from the display. She made mistakes in taking and then charging for the order. They were only bothered to close the shop on time. She was unperturbed and discourteous when I asked her how old the waffles were. She certainly did not want our custom.

Ours was not the last order. There was a delivery order being prepared and dispatched simultaneously.
The waffles were stale to taste. The staff took them from the display and did not prepare them fresh.
The food was handled to us in a parcel and we could NOT even open it in the shop - as the place was closed by the time she gave us our order after completing the delivery order - so there was no opportunity to âtell you to do it again or ask you for a refundâ
In your response you make it out that we were âconstantly questioning about the freshness of productâ â first of all, if a customer is constantly questioning the freshness of your product, that is a red flag in itself.
