West Grove Cafe — Restaurant in London

This cafe doesn’t even deserve a 1 star from me but however since a 1 star is the minimum ratings it certainly gets a 1 star. I use to get my coffee from here - they charge you the same price as pret but the quality of the coffee is not so great. I went recently to use their toilet and the guy at the till goes the flash don’t work, when he saw I didn’t get a coffee but however he was lying through his teeth as the staff in the shop next door where using his toilet. Can you believe he has the cheek to tell me his toilet doesn’t work because I didn’t buy a coffee when in the past I brought so many coffees from their. I will never ever go to this place again. I don’t recommend at all. Bad coffee and high prices. Food looks nasty and the place looks like their is signs of rodent...

Passed by here recently, I was quite hungry so wanted a bacon roll with good coffee. Very disappointed after my visit here, manager (or owner) not very friendly but the girl on the till was nice at least. Funny thing, I asked for a sandwich with bacon and instead they gave me ham. Illy Coffee usually tastes great...I don't understand if it was burned or recycled, undrinkable ...I had to bin it. I even wonder if it was Illy coffee at all. Served by a polite smiling member of staff doing her job well, she was then pushed away by a stale faced manager (older guy), which was weird and rude. Got my drink in a plastic glass unfortunately, the English breakfast was cheap and the ingredients not well cooked. Not that many people here, mostly a tourist cafe, I notice the manager appears very good at micro managing his staff and I feel sorry for them.
