I had a really unpleasant experience here. The man who served me spoke in a voice so loud and forceful that it felt more like he was shouting than speaking. There was no sense of warmth or courtesyājust this rough, almost aggressive tone that made me feel extremely uncomfortable.
When my drink was ready, he slammed it onto the counter without even looking at me. Then, without another word or glance, he turned around and walked away. The whole interaction felt jarringālike I wasnāt a customer, but just someone being hastily dismissed.
Iām familiar with different cultural styles of communication, but this kind of behaviour in a customer-facing role, especially in London, feels completely inappropriate. It didnāt feel like serviceāit felt like being barked at and thrown something.
I left the place feeling small, disrespected, and frankly embarrassed. I hope the management reflects on the energy and training they want their staff to bring to their customers. Because right now, itās not just the tea that leaves...

I went into the store to politely explain that the current tank is not suitable for the fish. They need somewhere to hide if they want to and vegetation to interact with. Fish are intelligent, despite what the myths tell us and it's unfair for them to be kept in that barren environment. When I calmly spoke to the gentleman working in the store he barely looked at me and just kind of laughed. I know it's not necessarily his fault, but I expect a better response and at least the message be passed onto whoever...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreQuite surprised to have seen a small bubble tea shop pop up in Kentish Town.
Whilst the service was warm and friendly, this is the average bubble tea spot whereby their milk tea drinks are made from artificially flavoured powders which was what my green melon milk tea had. Their pearls didnāt seem to disappoint as they were soft and bouncy, but some were firm in the middle. Not the best. Prices donāt reflect the quality as mine came to Ā£5.05, just slightly below what youād get from a shop that delivers fresh ingredients.
Good for a quick bubble tea fix, but if youāre looking for authenticity and freshness, this is not the...
