The set breakfast options were good and better than other local choices. However, the customer service was disappointing.

I asked if they could replace the black pudding with onion rings, and the server said no, which was understandable. However, she didn’t suggest any alternative herself. When I asked, she offered extra mushrooms instead. When the breakfast arrived, the mushroom portion was the same as my wife’s set menu. I asked if my meal included extra mushrooms, and she reluctantly said yes, which was not the case.

Additionally, my wife’s tea was too milky, so she requested a replacement with less milk. The server hesitantly agreed but simply poured out half the tea and added hot water, then told her to ask for milk separately next time.

Overall, we felt these scenarios, all could have been handled much better by the server, and for that reason, we won’t...
