I visited this fantastic place in February 2024 with my family of 4 when we were staying in Edgware.
The restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean.
Even before we ordered our food, it was obvious that the owners and staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive.
When it became time to order, we asked for recommendations and the member of staff who took our order spent a good amount of time explaining the various dishes on offer.
My youngest son and I enjoy hot and spicy dishes, and so ordered something appropriately fiery from the menu. We were asked how hot we would like it, and of course we said 'as hot as it gets'. Boy, we weren't disappointed!
Every item we had was of outstanding quality, and the service we received from the staff was probably the best service I've ever had in a restaurant.
Seeing that my son and I were struggling with the intense heat of the dishes that we were eating (well we DID ask for it to be HOT!), the waiter offered to bring some yoghurt for my son, and a few moments later, some napkins for myself!
This was done without us having to ask, and without embarrassing us in any way. The staff were extremely attentive and yet left us to enjoy the meal without constant interruptions.
They seemed happy that we were visiting from Manchester, and when told them that we would most definitely be visiting there again.
I cant recommend this place enough, and we can't wait to visit again in a few months when we're next in the area!

Read moreA welcome awaited us on arrival at the Himalayan Spices in Edgeware, London. Pre-booked a party of 15-20. The management were very helpful in advising us on what to choose and what to expect and I can confirm that we were more than happy with the choices on our menu. The restaurant is located on one of the main streets in Edgeware (I’m not from the area) and is in a Tudor-esque, more than likely listed building. I found it cosy with a welcoming atmosphere and service to match. The staff were extremely polite, courteous and friendly, not forgetting helpful. Nepalese food is known for its use of simple, fresh, locally sourced ingredients like rice, lentils, vegetables, and lean meats, with influences from Indian and Tibetan cuisines. And this is what you exactly get at this place. We ordered a verity of appetisers, Zachariah Paneer Tikka, Chicken Sekuwa, and of course Mo :Mo’s just to name a few. The main dishes Himalayan Lamb Karahi, Honey Hunter Chicken and Dal Panchami was also on the list along with many more dishes. All were exceptional and delicious. So much so that I could not take photos as it was being devoured at haste. Full of flavour, ho, freshly prepared and served directly on your table. Simply perfect. We traveled close to 150 miles to join our friends at this party. All I can say is say, it was definitely worth it. So, if you find yourself in the Edgeware area of London give it a try. 5...
Read moreJust wanted to give a shoutout to Himalayan Spices Restaurant in Edgware, London—I had the most amazing dining experience there recently!
The vibe when you walk in is super chill and cozy, and the staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming. It feels like you're stepping into someone's home rather than a restaurant.
Now, let's talk about the food—holy moly, it's next-level delicious! I'm talking about rich, flavorful curries, mouthwatering tandoori dishes, and the best darn momos I've ever tasted. Seriously, I could eat there every day and never get tired of it.
And can we talk about their Himalayan Spices Special Thali for a minute? It's like a little taste of everything they do best, and it's so darn good.
But what really stood out to me was the value—you get top-quality food without breaking the bank. It's the kind of place where you can treat yourself without feeling guilty afterward.
So, if you're in the mood for some seriously tasty Himalayan cuisine served with a side of warmth and hospitality, do yourself a favor and check out Himalayan Spices. Trust me, you...
