Henrys Cafe — Restaurant in Malvern Hills

Following on from a negative January review, can’t see why someone was surprised that dogs not permitted, it is a food establishment and as such is kept immaculately clean by the owner. As a regular customer I certainly don’t want dogs slopping around in a café. To me this is a great positive NOT a negative.

Between the somewhat mucky chain coffee bar down the road, that can’t ever make a decent espresso coffee and the immaculately clean Henrys that make the best espresso I have ever enjoyed - that is no contest.

Henrys welcome customers and treat all with respect, alas some customers don’t seem to appreciate that, shame on them!

Food was great. Had two jacket potatoes (not to myself); the portions were big! Staff were genuine and friendly and even told a non-attentive family to get their kid to turn down the cartoons on his phone. If only the family could have been turned down as well. Table spacing was generous given COVID (yawn). The only bad point was the terrible wall art; the number of cringe inducing quotes reminded me of my Facebook feed. I hate my Facebook feed. Pleased with the breakfast menu options available as well as the portion sizes. Options included vegetarian and 'make your own'. Staff were attentive, friendly and made the effort to make you feel welcomed. Would recommend to those who are in need of a hearty Full English Breakfast as it did not disappoint.
