First visit on Winslow road for many years... Was unsure which Sheesha spot to choose, Al Qaza looked busy, gave it a try ... Felt it's a gamble as a. I'm really fussy and b. Too many options to choose from.
Greeted well, very professional service, ordered and they had a good variety of flavours... Picked one and sat down... Our drinks and Tea came literally within 2 minutes, so extremely efficient. Really comfortable sofas and very clean. Staff were very professional, from the initial chap at the door to the guys changing the coals.
The flavour i chose wasn't what I'm used to as these guys use a different brand of the same flavour, so it wasn't totally happy, so I asked to swap it, they made again and it still didn't taste right ..so spoke to one of the main guys called Faisal... probably one of the nicest guys I met in ANY Sheesha place, from down south to up north, here in Manchester, extremely professional, polite, understanding... What a top lad.... Changed it for third time and gave me a nice flavour of his choice and it was spot on.
So in conclusion, really impressed with the level of service and putting me as a customer first, bravo. Also the dessert was really nice.. not cheap and cheerful like many others.
Great Sheesha, friendly staff, impeccable service (Big shout out to brother Faisal).
We will definitely come back again soon and I'd really really recommend this place to anyone in the area and wants a...
Read moreLovely sheesha bar, atmosphere is amazing, best sheesha going, I mean I've been to quite a few sheesha bars before and the sheesha dies out and no flavour, but these lots sheesha chucks out the smoke and fills your mouth with flavour, and the service is so quick. From the moment you get in, you're greeted very professionally, very friendly staff willing to help at a moment's notice, and once you've paid for your sheesha, you'll be shown to your seat and before you sit down the sheeshas you've ordered is ready for you! As the owner Faisal says, why wait for something you've paid for. Faisal is one of the main reasons I go, he always makes us feel very welcome and always finds time in his day to have a chat with us to make sure we've got everything we needed and asks how were doing, always. Even when it's extremely busy. I wouldn't recommend going to any other sheesha bar at the curry mile other than Al Qaza. Great place, very clean and modern. And no trouble here either, good mixture of men and women, Al Qaza have a huge variety of desserts you can feast on and if you're feeling like having chai, desi or other than that'll be provided. I could go on and on but i would HIGHLY recommend. Has the capacity to do Hen Nights, party's and others, plenty of room, and always show live events e.g. football and boxing although these nights prove extremely popular so make sure to get here early to watch the latest biggest live...
Read moreWe went to Al-Qaza for the India–Pakistan match, and honestly, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a café. On the outside, the place looks good and the setup is nice, but what happened inside completely ruined the evening. We paid for our seats and shisha, came with full excitement to watch the game, and naturally started cheering for India when our team did well. That’s what you expect at a live match screening — atmosphere, passion, and energy.
Instead of encouraging this, a man who claimed to be the owner was extremely rude and controlling. He kept telling us not to shout or celebrate, acting more like a dictator than someone running a hospitality business. It made everyone feel awkward and uncomfortable, as if we were doing something wrong just by supporting our team. We weren’t being disrespectful, we were simply enjoying the moment.
It’s a real shame because the shop itself is quite nice, but the management’s attitude destroyed the entire vibe. If you’re planning to go on a match or event day, I would strongly advise against it. Customers pay money to enjoy themselves, not to be silenced or...
