Upon entering MyLahore, one is immediately enveloped in an ambiance that delicately marries vibrant energy with an undercurrent of polished sophistication. Though modest in size, the establishment exudes a warmth and hospitality one might typically associate with far grander venues. It is not merely a restaurant — it is a cultural experience, tastefully orchestrated.

The evening was markedly elevated by the commendable attentiveness of one Nadim, whose courteous demeanour and quiet mastery of hospitality set a tone of effortless elegance. With the refinement of a seasoned maître d’, Nadim attended to every nuance with a grace and professionalism that made one feel both thoroughly attended to and unintrusively left to dine in peace. His conduct was neither overwrought nor overly familiar, striking instead a balance that many in the service industry might aspire to emulate.

The pièce de résistance, however, lay in the culinary offering itself: the grilled fish burger — a dish I approached with cautious optimism, only to be utterly disarmed by its understated brilliance. One does not simply “consume” such a burger; one experiences it.

The fillet itself was chargrilled to exquisite perfection: the delicate flesh of the fish flaked with a soft resistance, suggesting both freshness and technique. The marinade, a sophisticated blend of citrus, cumin, and gentle heat, paid homage to its South Asian roots while maintaining a cosmopolitan restraint. The subtle smokiness from the grill lent a touch of primal earthiness that brought the fish to life.

The bun — golden, lightly toasted, and whisperingly buttery — provided both structure and softness, yielding gracefully to the bite without ever compromising on texture. Nestled within were crisp salad leaves, the crunch of fresh onions, and a slather of sauce that walked the tightrope between creamy indulgence and zesty uplift with absolute precision. A lesser kitchen may have overcomplicated this ensemble; here, each element played its part like a well-rehearsed symphony.

Accompanied by perfectly seasoned fries and a side of house slaw that was both tangy and texturally compelling, the meal was completed with such balance that one left feeling replete yet entirely unencumbered.

In summation, MyLahore’s grilled fish burger is not merely a menu item — it is a testament to the kitchen's commitment to accessible culinary excellence. It is refined yet hearty, inventive yet faithful, and served with a level of care that transforms a casual meal into something quietly memorable.

To glaze over such a dining experience would be to do it a disservice; rather, let it be said that MyLahore — and in particular, the ever-professional Nadim — offers an encounter that would not be out of place in the most discerning of dining circles. An establishment, and an evening, well...

Absolutely the worst dining experience I’ve ever had — and that’s not an exaggeration. I visited my Lahore Manchester Restaurant expecting authentic, flavorful food, but what I got instead was a complete disaster.

The food was shockingly bad. Everything we ordered tasted either stale, overcooked, or just completely off. It was clear that freshness and quality are not priorities here. The meat was chewy and bland, the curries were watery and flavorless, and the naan — if you can even call it that — was rubbery and cold. I wouldn’t serve this food to anyone, let alone pay for it.

And speaking of payment: the prices are absurdly high for what you get. You’d expect at least decent quality for those rates, but this food isn’t even fit for consumption, let alone worth a premium price. It’s an outright rip-off.

To make things worse, the service was just as poor — uninterested staff, slow service, and no effort to fix the issues when raised.

Save your money and your appetite. There are far better places in Manchester for desi food. Lahore Manchester seriously needs to rethink its standards — or risk losing every customer who walks through its doors. We ordered their so-called “signature” Chicken Karahi, expecting rich, authentic flavors. What we got instead was just a bland, watery chicken curry — absolutely nothing like a proper Karahi. It lacked depth, spice, aroma, and character. If that’s their signature dish, I can’t even imagine the rest.

Even more shocking was the Chicken Biryani. Not only was it completely tasteless and lacking any authentic biryani aroma, but it came with peas — peas in chicken biryani! I’ve never seen that in my life, and it’s honestly baffling. The rice was mushy, the seasoning was non-existent, and it tasted like something microwaved from a cheap supermarket meal deal.

To top it all off, we paid £79.65 for food that was so bad we left more than half of it uneaten and walked away. The price point is outrageous for the quality (or lack thereof) — completely unjustified. You expect a premium price to reflect premium food — this was the opposite.

The food was not only below standard, it was unfit to be served. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Poor taste, poor value, and an overall unpleasant experience. Avoid at all costs — there are far better desi restaurants in Manchester that actually know what...

hoy there, fellow food explorers! 🚀 Gather 'round as I recount the epic tale of my family's culinary adventure at MyLahore Restaurant in the heart of Manchester!

Upon entering this colourful gastronomic spaceship, I couldn't help but feel like I've stumbled into a Willy Wonka-meets-Star Wars fusion world! 🌈🚀 The interior was like a psychedelic kaleidoscope that seemed to have been painted by Picasso's more eccentric cousin. It's a family-friendly vibe, all right, and by family-friendly, I mean it's like dining in the middle of a carnival!

Now, let's talk about the menu, shall we? Oh, sweet Mother of Menus! 📜 It was like trying to read a Shakespearean play in Swahili. So many options, so little time! There were grilled delights, burgers that could rival the Tower of Pisa, steaks so juicy they could make a cactus cry tears of joy, curries that would make a Bollywood dance number blush, and a pasta selection that could put the Leaning Tower of Pisa to shame. And that's not even getting into the desserts and drinks! 😵

As we sat there, paralyzed by the plethora of choices, our dear server probably thought we were writing an encyclopaedia on the history of food. Eventually, after ages of internal debate, I chose the chicken fillet steak with egg fried rice, mash, and veggies. "A meal fit for a king!" I thought, hoping to be blown away like a feather in a hurricane. 🍗💨

Alas, while the food was good, it didn't make me sing "Hallelujah" from the mountaintops or moonwalk across the restaurant. It was more like a gentle pat on the back, saying, "You did alright, champ." But with so many other culinary wonders in the vicinity, I may embark on a gastronomic quest to other lands before returning to this psychedelic spaceship. 🚀🌌

However, I must applaud the prompt and engaging service! The servers were like cheerful ninjas, ready to fulfil our every request with a wink and a smile. 😄🥷

In conclusion, MyLahore is a place where flavours collide, and colours run wild, providing a culinary adventure that'll leave you dizzy with choices. It's worth a visit with your adventurous family, but be prepared for a buffet of options that'll make your head spin like a merry-go-round! 🎪🎡 Just remember, the food is good, but the experience is...
