My Karak Chaai — Restaurant in Manchester

A month before I visited my karak chai and had an amazing experience I tried their nehari and it was the best nehari I have ever had in uk. And the pasta last time we ordered it was with grilled chicken pieces and topped with a layer of mozzarella cheese and the sauce was like creamy white sauce with hint of tomato’s. Today I visited again with high hopes but it was very disappointing for me. They change the pasta now instead of grilled chicken pieces there was some shredded chicken and some Mozrella it was all big tomatoes pieces coming in my mouth and I wouldn’t even taste any spices in the pasta it was only tomatoes that I can taste in pasta. Secondly don’t order their smashed burger at all it’s a complete waste of money. The bun was very dry and may be old the patties were tasteless like no salt or seasoning and it was hard to take a bite it was almost like a rubber. Today was my cheat day and I do in a month so it was an utter disappointment. Only 2 star for the donuts their donuts were the best that I have ever taste in my life I really like them and would only recommend them and if nehari still taste like before then definitely that as well. But one more thing expect a long time for waiting for your order their services...

I been going to Karak Chai Manchester regularly now for last couple of years & I like ordering the Tiramisu Cake with a large Karak chai & i normally buy a few extra slices for takeaway too, but last few visits on a Saturday evening, they never have any Tiramisu cake on the shelf, the one occassion, I got the guy behind the counter to check in the fridge & said "surely you must have some in the fridge," he returns & asks "how many slices you want ?", I replied "3," he replies take 4 & I'll get it cut! - The Cheek. Today , again a Saturday evening - busiest day of the week for businesses like this, so any business minded person would person would have in stock more of what is in demand, Guess what - Sold out ! Guiys - a healthy tip, you know that fridge you have - stock it up, especially for a Saturday evening. Also, when some one orders a Large cup of Karak Chai, it normally means, they want more than a regular cup, hence - why I ordered the Large cup, so why is it - That you only half fill it! Come on guys, sort it out! i really enjoy coming to Karak Chai, dont let me have to find...

As I am currently living in a tent, it's absolutely freezing, I just about had enough for a coffee, which was made with total care and thought, noticeably I might add. Anyway as I have a hot water bottle I asked if they minded filling a cup with hot water and explained my situation. Not only did they fill 1 cup but three, giving me a holder and then they asked me if I had eaten, if I was hungry etc, I had eaten and I never just take something if I don't actually need it but the guy put me some biscuits on the cup holder and I could tell he genuinely cared. Considering the majority of places won't even let homeless people use the bathroom and look at you like you are something they just stood in, in turn making you feel worthless, when someone treats you with kindness and compassion it gives you the strength to keep going. Thankfully I can truthfully give this place an outstanding review, it's modern, clean, reasonably priced and everything I have ever eaten or drank from there has been heaven. The Nutella wrap is out of this world. It's well...
