Quite possibly the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. - We booked a table, upon arrival no one greeted us at the 'wait here to be seated' sign and I had to walk over and ask to be seated. - We were told our table wasn't ready, despite there being 15 empty tables and only about 3 groups in the restaurant, so had to wait. - We had not been to a Korean bbq restaurant before, so didn't know what to expect. No one asked if it was our first time or offered any information. - we waited so long to have our order taken I had to get up and grab someone, even though there were at least 8 staff and only 3-4 tables - when our food came, no one had set up our BBQ which needed to be oiled and pre heated. The waitress shouted at another guy Infront of us to stop cleaning another table and come set ours, rather than do it herself - the raw meat and fish were room temperature on arrival, although this didn't occur to me as odd until after the fact - staff sat at the table next to ours and were generally rowdy, shouting and swearing - no one checked up to see if our food was ok, whether we needed more drinks or anything else - i tried to signal to the same waitress to come over as we were finished and she turned away - eventually she just walked over with the bill and slapped it down. I noticed immediately that everything on the bill was up to £2 more expensive than what the menu said. There was also a 10% service charge - she came back with a card machine, I asked for the service charge to be removed, the waitress gave me a dirty look and said "No. Why?". I tried to explain that I don't agree with forced charges like this, and I prefer to decide myself what tip is appropriate. She cut me off and said she doesn't want to remove it. I firmly told her at this point to take it off. - She huffed, stormed off, printed off a new bill. She didn't even come around to my table, just threw the plate with the bill onto my table, then stormed back off. - I got my card out to pay, she went right past me to another table and started having an extended conversation with them. They then finished so she started taking their payments. - I had to go stand at the bar to get enough attention for her to take my payment. One of the other staff apologised to me. - i went to use the bathroom before leaving, somehow the dryer was mouldy? It made me worry about the food I was excited to try Korean food, and in a great location. The food genuinely tasted nice and the cocktails were also good. However, I will never set foot in this place again and if anyone I know mentions going, I will warn them not to. The service was absolutely horrifying and how that girl thinks she deserves a tip is absolutely baffling.

Found this little spot back in February around its opening, decided to check it out on my lunch break as I only work down the street from this restaurant and have fallen in love with the place since. Have been back several times so I could make a solid review. The place is decorated to a good standard, well lit and cosy, there is also KPop playing in the background to give an authentic Korean restaurant vibe. There's also an open bar area where you can see the bartender make your drinks. Richard, the owner was a wonderful host and super talkative. There is also a karaoke function room on the lower ground floor, this is great for group gatherings that want a place to chill out and sing, whilst also dining in. I have tried many of the dishes on the menu now and can say that none so far have disappointed. Food has always been flavourful and as authentic to Korean cuisine from Korea as possible. The food is served quickly, especially their lunchtime bento box offer (which have an option of meat, with rice, salad, starter of the day, and kimchi, with a Korean wheat tea). I recommend the Kimchi Chun, Ra Bok Kki (with cheese), Dark Tui Gim, Kan Ping Ki, Sun Du Bu Jig Gae, Bugogi Dukbegi, and Dolsot Bibimap, or the BBQ Sets for dinner. The waitress, Jeni, was super helpful in helping me decide which dishes to try each time. The drink selection is vast, and the bartender, Tony, is well versed on the wine list and cocktails, also as a side note there is a happy hour offer where there is 2-4-1 on cocktails between 12-7pm, everyday! The cocktails with a pan-Asian twist to the flavours, which compliments the food well. Overall, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who is shopping or looking for a casual restaurant to catch up with friends. It's even great for work lunch! Amazing staff, food, and service! P.s. I've also heard they're getting a bingsu machine soon, so I'm looking forward to trying authentic Korean bingsu soon!!

Went here for a long weekend away in Manchester, had some Irish friends visiting who had never had Korean BBQ before so we opted to go here as the reviews seemed great. Granted we did not book beforehand, so I will not complain about where we were seated even though it was next to what seemed to be a decommissioned bar and I felt very thrown to the side. We were just told to order with a QR code which I have done at other Korean bbq places, but the signal was poor and the WiFi did not work so we had to order through the staff. The waiter initially told us we couldn’t have BBQ at the table they seated us at? Then decided we could. We waited an hour for them to bring out the meats, (1 order of beef 1 order of pork, some mushrooms and spring onions) then didn’t even bring all the food we ordered out, somehow the cooked dishes one of my friends order came out first and we had to ask the staff multiple times where the water we ordered was and where the food was. The meat then came, but the bbq was electric and not even plugged in. We had to ask where the vegetables were. The staff felt run off their feet and not know how to deal with issues. We asked to speak to the manager at the end, I don’t know if the gentleman we spoke to was even the manager, he did apologise and reduced the bill but we were not the only people with problems with the service that night. The food was good, the enoki mushrooms were my favourite but overall felt unwelcome and I wouldn’t recommend my friends go here.

This is by far the WORST dinning experience i've ever had. Not gonna common on the food, everyone has their own taste But the SERVICE we received tonight was absolute shockingly APPALLING All started with a HAIR my friend found in the KIMCHI she was having with the dolsot bibimbap, we immedietly call the waitress over, she apologied and took the bowl away and replaced it with a new plate of kimchi, which was fine, my friend just didnt get to try the dolsot bibimbap thats all, not a big deal. We then moved on to try the Bu Dae Hotpot, we were expecting to have rice cakes in there, but we couldnt find any, not a big deal, just order some individually, so we did. Waited for 10 mins, my friend was trying to get the attention of the waitress, but she didnt seem to care. Waited for another 10 mins, i raised the attention of a waiter, wasnt sure if he was a waiter or a kitchen staff or anything but he was the only one seem to be able to respond, we told him that we’ve been waiting 20 mins for the rice cakes, we are almost finish with the meal anyways, so there’s no point in bringing it to the table, so please cancel it for us. He apologised then walked away. Heres when the funny part comes in, the table next to us was a chinese couple, and we are chinese too, i spoted the rice cakes on their table, so we asked them did they order any? Because we came in the restaurant and placed our orders first. They said no, they thought the rice cakes came with the hotpot seperatly, the waitress just put it down without saying anything. LOL, so, the rice cakes we ordered went to the table next to us, and they didnt find out, how funny. Whats more funny was, the waitress went to the couple and told them that they will not be charges for the rice cakes, BUT, didnt even come over to even say sorry to us. and they took the rice cakes away after a few mins, before the couple even finish their meal. we had to try so hard to hold in the laughs. The attitude was disgusting, £85.10 plus service charge comes to a total of £93.60 for 3 of us. You charge us for that terrible standard of service?? Seriously? At the end we had to ask them to remove the service charge off the bill, and paid cash with 10% discount, and left no TIPS. Will not be returning and will spread the...
