We picked this place because it seemed more relaxed than the other options on this level, as well as a nicer atmosphere. The kind host that greeted us, he was lovely, but our waitress and those that served us food were not friendly. They were noticeably more friendly and accommodating to the other tables around us. I would have gladly ordered more drinks and tipped more on top of the 12.5% included, but not with the service we received. My partner ordered the avocado, poached eggs on toast; the “avocado” tasted like the prepackaged guacamole packs. I had the pancakes/bacon; the bacon was great, but the pancakes tasted like the ones out of a frozen pack. The first two drinks I intended to order, they didn’t have (drinks listed on their menu, not a special request). Overall, would give them another try, because maybe this is an off day. I’m not sure how many stars I should give to this place. I felt like different parts of section of resturants just had different levels of training. For example I thought the kitchen staff was quite trained enough. The time when I visited here was around 1pm which was a quite popular time and it seemed like the kitchen staff were coping to it very well.

However I think the most problems that i recognised here was the serving staffs. They just didn’t seemed automatic. For instance, I’ve seen quite a few scenes where kitchen staffs were staring at the waitresses to take the dishes that were ready for a while. I think this place is rather being understaffed or just got an issue with waitresses.

Extortionate price for a full English breakfast which could basically be summarised as microwaved slop. Also, wedges with a full English? Bizarre.

Ordered a cup of tea which never came and when we told the waitress and asked for it to be cancelled/removed from the bill, she didn't even bother to apologise for the inconvenience.

Imposed a significant service charge without asking (to make you have to ask to have it manually removed). The audacity of this despite the shoddy food and service was quite unbelievable. It should have been automatically added as a discount, if anything.
