Honestly? £3.95 for a "festive panini" it consisted of one slice bacon and a piece of brie that must have been two atoms thick. I'm as impressed as an abused choir boy. It tastes okay I guess, it could have have actually tasted like bacon and brie instead of cranberry. Most of the time I was literally crying because I'd spent about £3.50 on bread.
I try and avoid Costa at most costs and this is a shining example of being ripped off just for the sake of it! It not even the end of October and I'm paying for a premium on Christmas already? If you're wondering why I just didn't choose something else, there was a choice between a "festive toastie" and a "festive panini". Panini was bigger therefore more food for money right? Wrong!
I believe in giving second chances but I've been robbed on a number of occasions by Costa so I'll be avoiding any further shops like a plague of zombies.

I asked for a chocolate brownie and a hazelnut latte. -Baristas weren't nice as usual. -No spoon served. -Plastic knife served. -Cake tasted really bad. -Latte tasted bad. -Drink wasn't full.
I complained and got new a cake and drink. -Cake tasted bad. -Barista didn't seem to believe me. -Latte didn't taste nice. -Latte didn't have hazelnut syrup. -Latte wasn't hot enough.
Complained again to get my refund. -Barista didn't show interest in finding a cause for the problems. -If there was anything wrong with the milk, baristas needed to investigate. -Baristas were not properly trained.
I didn't even complain about the missing spoon, hoping the baristas would notice, but didn't happen. I went to the gate unhappy. If this is the best service they can offer, for the price they charge, then shouldn't even be open for service! Close that coffee...
