Looking at previous reviews and wondering if the staff/management are leaving them because my experience was far from friendly, welcoming and fun! Did not receive a warm/nice welcome, was just asked what I want. No one asked if I was being served already while I was waiting. the person who originally took my order came to do my drink after he was finished doing what ever he was doing in the back room. When I came to pay I didn’t realise it was cash only (which was ok as I had cash on me) but would of been better if that was explained before ordering instead of being told (cash only and pointing at a note on the till). While I was waiting another customer though his order was being placed on a plate and said sorry mine is a take out and the reply from the other guy behind the till was (I know) and carried on. If you are someone who is loyal to Caffé Nero, I would recommend visiting here in Manchester. It’s located inside a book store, just a short flight of stairs up, so you can take your coffee gazing at the books. Alternatively you can sit yourself in amazingly comfy sofas and benches in some deeper corners of the cafe.
