Navarro Lounge — Restaurant in Manchester

Great little find today. Staying over due to a hospital visit. Needed to find a venue with a few Gluten free (GF) options. Quick Google search and this place popped up with good reviews.

Struggled to find the GF menu others talked about so decided to call and confirm. Spoke to a very professional chap who confirmed they did have a GF and no reservation was need this evening.

Nice walk and a surprise to find the restaurant nestled next to a nice green area in Manchester. Quickly seated and menus offered.

The GF options were just a couple they had a FULL GF menu. Loads of choice and when rhe food comes out it has a red flag to signify its GF stopping any mix up.

As per my previous reviews my wifes disability dictates she cant have regular size portions. Asked for the child's or small portion menu and was swiftly presented with it without any hassle at all unlike many other places weve visited.

Food came out quickly and was piping hot. And it was delicious.... smash burger and GF Korean Burger were full of flavour.

Place was clean tidy. Staff were polite and helpful. Price for a busy area if manchester was on point. The member of our party who was GF has even said he'll be back with his son.

If you have a 4 legged friend they also have a dog menu and free biscuits too.

My supervisor had planned a work Christmas lunch at Navarro Lounge, and due to the busy festive period, menus were circulated in advance so orders could be placed ahead of time. The menu offered a variety of options, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes. As I only consume halal food, it was crucial that the vegetarian dish I selected (West Country Cheddar & leek pie with mash, red cabbage, gravy, carrots, parsnips, and sprouts) was free from cross-contamination with animal fat and was not cooked with alcohol.

To ensure this, I called the restaurant beforehand to discuss my concerns. The staff were understanding and accommodating, confirming that the dish met my dietary requirements.

On the day of the lunch, we were seated promptly, and the waitstaff were attentive throughout. I really enjoyed my meal, as did my colleagues. As the lunch was generously covered by my workplace, I cannot comment on the pricing, though I would expect it to be reasonable.

Leaving a positive review for the server who handled my gluten free order this evening. Staff were lovely and accommodating and the selection of gluten free options was fabulous. They have a separate fryer for gf food but the usual rules about not being able to fully avoid cross contamination were explained at the till. A dedicated server handled the order and when they didn't quite have what I really wanted due to a shortage of gf buns and 'smash patties' they adapted things for me. I had the diablo smash burger with sweet potato fries and it was tasty, filling and just right on the heat scale for me. I find eating anywhere a bit of a chore these days with my wheat intolerance but this was about as good an experience as I've had in a while. I stupidly forgot to leave a tip (sorry guys!) so hopefully this review will suffice. I'm down with mobile sites and apps but I much prefer a paper copy of the gf menu like what they had here - so much easier to see the choices.
