Chaiiwala Manchester, located in a busy part of Manchester. Parked at Tesco (for free) which is a short walk. Chaiiwala is spacious with cosy seating area with friendly and helpful staff. Ordered Masala chips with extra cheese, omelette bun, desi breakfast karak chaii and iced karak coffee. The food was well presented however over priced for what was offered. The Masala chips were soggy, not seasoned fully and the extra cheese had not melted. The omelette bun, the omelette itself was good however the bun was very small and appeared to be a cheap bun from a multi-pack. Maybe use a bigger sized bun and slightly toast it so it doesn't appear it is taken straight from a packet. The karak chaii was very good. The iced karak coffee, the cream sat on top and the iced cubes overwhelmed the taste unkaraking it. The desi breakfast, to give it a more authentic experience it would be better to have in house cooked paratha (desi style), as opposed to the small Shana paratha style ones. The chana although a very small portion was cooked to perfection. Overall, great atmosphere, great seating, excellent staff, great presentation. The omelletes, chaana and karak chaii are fantastic, small details such as the buns and paratha possibly need reviewing. Marginally pricey for what is being offered.

First time ordered with Chaiwala for home delivery and so disappointed with the extra suprise . I ordered three cups of chai and decided to try the samosa chaat, if the order was over £10 you got free delivery and 30% off so thought why not. I open the samosa chaat box and separated it into two portions. I started eating into it and after my second mouthful I immediately spat it out and that's when I came across a small piece of white plastic. As you can imagine this immediately put me off my chaat but the icing on the cake was when my mum also appeared to throw up. In her portion she bit into the same piece of plastic but around 2inch in length and extremely sharp on both ends. How do you miss something so big? I can imagine the smaller piece but utterly shocked at the large piece. This could have ended much worse and easily pierced the inside of someone's mouth. Safe to say we won't be ordering from Chai wala again .

A new addition’ the cafe is clean, crisp and sleek, the decor is very very good’ this was originally a ‘Martins’, the space is airy and open, it’s unique for the area and you can tell the money spent is well worth it’ plush, posh and retro, love the fusion. So...the million dollar question’ how’s the food? It’s a well known chain, in other locations across the UK so it’s not a surprise’ some things work well with the small snack foods, comfortable binging’ which is lovely. So overall’ it’s precooked Indian snacks, that are accompanied by very good traditional Indian drinks. It’s not great’ it’s a very occasional treat for food but great to visit for a drink and chat, a huge welcome to the strip. How will the competition react? Khan Chai is about to launch freshly onsite cooked food, we will wait to see. It’s all great for the area.

Nice place for Asian breakfast and tea , i visited this place recently, but as usual there is no parking so you have to use free 3 hour parking in tesco or car park situated opposit street . The sitting area is very ambiance nicely decorated with clean atmosphere. There is no table service so i have to made order over counter. When i made order i was given a buzzer which tell me when my order is ready ,this idea is very nice and avoid queing on tills. I liked it. Food price are fairly high as compared to the food quantity but becase of covid the prices of everything is going up so i wouldn't take a star off for that. Staff is normal but not very welcoming. I was expecting a welcome smile but it was very boaring. Now come the food . Quality and taste is not very good .the traditional Halwa puri and Pratha are made from frozen stuff. By the time i got my order it was already cold. Taste is not Authentic at all. Tea is very simple without any taste. So i give a zero to their Masala tea. That is sad that a big brand does not maintain food quality and taste as authentic taste . so just 1 star for food. Hope in future they will improve their...

Terribly slow service. As a delivery courier, this is the worst chaiwalla I have ever picked up from.

They don't start making the food until the delivery drivers arrives at the store. So no matter when the order is placed, only when the driver arrives, then they begin making the food. Hence, wasting the customers time and the drivers time, deliberately. I did a delivery on 24 Dec from here, I waited 10 minutes in the car and then 15 minutes in the store, they only started making the food when I got there. This is very bad service as they are prioritising certain orders and customers before delivery orders. The man working behind the till at the time, indirectly admitted to this and it was then when I had caught him out. He didnt care and didn't even apologise for the lateness.

I think this branch needs an entire staff change. They're very incompetent, unprofessional, unable to multitask, slow and overall terrible at their jobs. Wouldn't last an hour working for me or in...
