Amazing hot chocolate, homely atmosphere, friendly staff. Great place to work.
Genuinely one of the best hot chocolates I've had. They had options for white, milk, or dark chocolate. You can also add cow milk or non-dairy milks including oat, coconut, and soy milk. The dark chocolate was vegan if I remember correctly. They also have in-house flavourings such as hazelnut parline and salted caramel. I went for the dark hot chocolate with oat milk and hazelnut parline (that I dissolved/mixed into the chocolate). It was divine.
They also have a variety of in-house baked goods including cookies, brownies, and crossants. They also had some vegan cookies for those interested.
I worked at the café for a few hours. I was writing my PhD thesis and it was a lovely atmosphere to work in. They also have power plugs next to some of the indoor tables along the wall. Definitely a nice place to chill and work too for those interested. It does get busy during some times. So I would be thoughtful when working here like any other cafe.
Last but not least, the staff were really friendly! They gave lots of recommendations, and are really helpful with dietary requirements.
The place is slightly pricier than some places. Drinks cost about £3-5. But, they are definitely worth the small premium! I would...
Read moreI recently tried Cocoa Tree Chocolatier and I must say, it was an indulgent treat that made the whole family very happy! The variety of flavours they offer is impressive and each one is expertly crafted. From classic flavours like milk chocolate and dark chocolate to unique combinations like raspberry and rose, there's something for the whole family.
What I particularly appreciated about Cocoa Tree Chocolatier was their easy online ordering system with next day delivery. It made it convenient to order a box of their hand crafted luxury chocolates without leaving my home. And let me tell you, the 25-piece box I received was absolutely stunning.
Each chocolate in the box was a work of art, and we savoured every bite. The Belgian chocolate honeycomb nuggets were a particular standout for me, with their perfect balance of sweet and crunchy. It's clear that the chocolatiers at Cocoa Tree take great care in their craft and are committed to using the finest ingredients.
Overall, I highly recommend Cocoa Tree Chocolatier to anyone looking for a special treat or gift. With their impressive variety of flavours, convenient online ordering, and exquisite craftsmanship, you won't be...
Read moreCocoa Three has an amazing combination of delicious dishes and disgusting rules. We live in Chorlton and occasionally try to give this cafe a second chance because they chocolate is really nice. And every second time we remain highly unsatisfied with the rudeness promising ourselves not to go there again.
The peculiarity of this cafe is the short duration which you are allowed to stay inside. Once the staff decide that you are staying for too long, you will be asked to leave the cafe immediately. At best, this can happen in an hour, but at worst, you have only 15-20 minutes to finish with your food and drinks from the moment you place your order. The cafe has a small hall, and, apparently, the owners expect to earn more money this way by serving a large number of customers, forcing freeing up the seats from time to time.
So if you're in a hurry and you have 15 minutes for a cup of coffee, Cocoa tree is a great choice, but if you want to spend time without a rush, there are other wonderful cafes in Chorlton such as Tea Hive and Bisous Bisous where you will not be asked to get out immediately once the personal decide that they do not interested in your...
