Incredible food, Clean, friendly, fast service but tight seating on a 4 person table. Can be noisy when it's a full house.
Its nice and warm on the terrace with adjustable patio heaters above. So no need to bring a coat.
Second time iv been here and hasn't disappointed.
This time I went for dinner with friends instead of lunch, and unsurprisingly got great service again.
I recommend the feta cheese spring rolls for starter, as it's a nice Greek twist to the normal spring roll and oozes feta cheese as soon as you bite into it.
For main I ordered Kiremitte Kofta, which is 4 moist and tender minced lamb koftas covered neopolitan sauce and cheddar cheese with tender bell peppers. Absolutely to die for.
The star of the show was desert, as pictured, which was a sweet cheese covered in vermicelli sweet noodle shreds and syrup. It's had the texture of mozzarella but was tasty and sweet. Definitely something unique and original. You find that anywhere else.
The tables were clean during covid and the place was bustling.
Although we had to wait 10mins, I didn't mind has it was to clean the table.
The only downside was the lack of seating room behind. Not sure of the eaters behind me, were big boned but there was hardly any room to get out to the toilet.
Toilets were very clean though.
When it's busy people can be loud and will be hard to hear each other at some...
Read moreFirst visit for us and we were both very impressed.
We visited on a Saturday afternoon after using Google to search to find a local restaurant and deciding on here based on the pictures.
I have shared a few pictures from our visit for you as we ordered what we saw online typical choosing to eat with our eyes!
The food was really nice and the pictures really do, do the food justice. Everything was fresh and was everything we'd hoped for.
Service was a little quiet in terms of check ins but the interactions we did have were polite and friendly. I would have been happy to share how happy we were with everything, especially the starters that we had chosen, but that opportunity didn't arise. We did hear a table nearby be asked how everything was so I wouldn't take away to much from this.
Overall a really nice visit. We couldn't manage dessert, but we will definitely be back.
Some other information.
We called beforehand to make sure they could accommodate us which they could but you can also book 30 minutes in advance specifying indoors or out via the website, availability permiting.
There was only one other family dining when we arrived so it was nice and quiet and this was around 12 on a Saturday. We chose to sit out as it is still enclosed and heated which was nice.
It did pickup whilst we were there but it was ok...
Read moreChose this place for Couples lunch; we were the only customers in the restaurant. Restaurant interior and decor are really nice, romantic and clean. Feels upmarket and compared to other restaurants in Chorlton is of superior quality. The toilets are super clean. Now for food.. Starters; Hummus was very average and the chicken wings were not very nice; didn't eat more than two bites. Waiter didn't ask us at any point if the food was nice or if we needed anything. The wings were bland and lacking in flavour and they tasted old. The waiter cleared them away seeing they were pretty much untouched without a mention at all. For mains i had the lamb burger. £1 for a slice of cheese! The burger bun and patty tasted good and the harissa was nice. Other half ordered the sausage and halloumi sandwich. It was average. The mocktail was awful. Overall a very dissatisfying meal, the service was pretty much non existent.. waiter just brought the food over to the table and was never to be seen again. It's a pricey menu but serving pretty much similar food to its rivals; I genuinely thought the food was going to be better. I'll give it one more chance ordering something different next time; but when there's so much in the way of competition in Chorlton that beats this place for quality of food, flavour and service, it'll be a while...
