I pre-booked this restaurant for myself and 7 women (30+ to give context). Having eaten at the venue in Cheshire oaks and been very impressed with service,food, atmosphere it seemed a perfect place for my besties hen do. Good food, zero gangs with cowboy hats and the right amount of vibe without feeling we needed to be dressed in 5 inch heels. I had ordered 2 bottles of prosecco on arrival, over a week in advance, I did request a balloon which would have been a nice touch but they don't do that.
Imagine my disappointment when the prosecco is not there on arrival. I quickly and discretely spoke to two waitresses to remind them of the pre order and they said fine we will tell our manager and get it sorted.
15 mins later, no prosecco not even a drinks order. I worked in restaurants when for 5 years so I know what good customer service is but also appreciate it's Manchester, it was a Saturday etc hence why I discretely and politely spoke to two staff.
After 15mins we do get a drinks order but none of the guests know about the prosecco so they all order a cocktail. The group are not big drinkers so we ended up with a bottle left over!!! at the end of the meal.
Everyone loved the food, which was a saving grace and the atmosphere was lovely. I also appreciate that when settling the bill the duty manager listened to my feedback, apologised and did discount the bill. Hence, why I have given the stars I have.
He also said that they will reflect on my feedback and improve service in the future eg. pre order drinks on arrival means you walk in, sit down and someone passes you a nice cold glass of fizz.

We had not even received menus at this point, yet these were later added to our bill. We placed our starter and main course orders and were told the starters would be served first. After a 20-minute wait, the starters finally arrived, and we finished them within about 10 minutes. However, no one came to clear our plates for another 15 minutes, and only after we flagged down a passing server, who informed us that our mains would follow.
After waiting a further 30–40 minutes, our main courses had still not arrived. We again had to ask the server, who explained that a party of 12 — seated after us — had taken priority. This was unacceptable and showed a disregard for the order of service. When the mains eventually arrived, one dish — the Chicken Taouk grill — was served cold. We raised this with the server, who involved a supervisor. The dish was taken away, but despite assurances it would be resolved, it never returned. After waiting another 30 minutes while the rest of the group had already eaten, we asked for the dish to be cancelled When we requested the bill, we made it clear that we would not be paying the service charge, due to the poor service. Upon reviewing the bill, we noticed we had been charged for the olives, pickles and bread we never ordered. My experience with this restaurant during Ramadan was incredibly disappointing. Despite ordering my food at 17:20 to ensure it arrived on time for Iftar, my delivery didn't arrive until 18:20. Upon arrival, the driver only had the drinks portion of my £80 order, leaving me with just two cokes for dinner. This oversight reflects poorly on the restaurant's management for failing to check and count the order accurately before sending it out. The driver exacerbated the situation by blaming me for the incorrect delivery.
After contacting customer service, they reordered my food, resulting in another hour and a half wait. When the food finally arrived, half of my order was missing, leaving only enough for one person to eat. This experience was particularly disheartening during Ramadan, as I had been fasting all day in anticipation of breaking my fast at 18:10, but ended up eating at 20:10 instead. Despite my reluctance to leave negative reviews, this experience was so egregious that it warrants a stern warning to others about the poor service provided by the restaurant.
