We recently hosted our daughter's wedding reception at Manchester Hall, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From start to finish, the entire event was flawlessly executed, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.

The venue itself is stunning, with elegant decor and a sophisticated ambiance that provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The historic charm of Manchester Hall, combined with its modern amenities, made for an unforgettable day.

A special mention goes to Augusta, our Wedding Coordinator, who was excellent in her recommendations. She was incredibly patient with us as we made changes and amendments, and she managed the event in a thoroughly professional manner. Her attention to detail and expertise were invaluable in making the day run smoothly.

William, the Operations Manager, also played a crucial role in ensuring everything was running smoothly. His efficiency and oversight helped us feel at ease throughout the event.

On the day of the wedding, we were particularly impressed by the attentiveness of our waitstaff – Hidi, Noah, and Abdul. They were exceptional in their service, ensuring that all our guests were well taken care of. Our guests repeatedly praised the level of care and attention they received, contributing to the overall success of the day.

The food was another highlight. Our guests raved about the delicious menu, which was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The culinary team did an outstanding job accommodating various dietary preferences and ensuring everyone was satisfied. Additionally, the mocktails were creative and cleverly made, sparking such interest that guests even asked the bartender how they were prepared.

We recently got married at Manchester Hall (July 2024) and had a beautiful wedding. We travelled from Western Australia with 90 guests from around the world.

We decided to have our ceremony, drinks and canapés, wedding breakfast and reception all on level 2 (a 14 hour wedding day)

Here’s some pro’s and con’s that might be useful for other couples planning to get married here 😊

Pro’s are: Beautiful historical venue in the centre of Manchester Amazing food throughout the day. The menu tasting day was very helpful. They contact your vendors, to provide details on accessing the building for deliveries etc Lovely friendly and attentive staff

Con’s are: We found out after signing the contract that the venue does not allow streams or cloud smoke effects due to the smoke detectors sensitivity. Vital to know if you would like to use effects for your first dance/reception. Our wedding planner sadly was not able to attend on the day. We found out 2 days before, after planning our overseas wedding for a year. This resulted in a few hiccups on the day. No soft drinks were provided to the kids/non-alcoholic guests at the Wedding breakfast, which we paid for There is no bridal room available. Handy to have for a full day wedding (Available for an additional fee though) The Bride & Groom didn’t receive canapés or drinks during photo session which was pre-arranged We sent 2 emails to request a post wedding discussion, but received zero...

We booked Manchester Hall for our wedding venue for the 12th October 2024. The booking was made about 3/4 months before the actual date so we got a really good deal by taking a last availability date. This didn't leave us with much time to plan everything but it was all made very simple thanks to the staff here. Nothing was too much trouble; we had countless conversations and they were always available to answer any questions that we had. Taylor was our wedding planner and we cannot thank her enough for everything that she did for us. She was very thorough ensuring that every detail was covered and always very professional in how she handled everything. It was a very easy process from start to finish. The wedding day was perfect, we can't fault anything. The whole team made everything run so smoothly and we want to thank every single member of staff for that. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and especially how amazing the food was, both for the wedding breakfast and evening snack. To say that many members of the staff were so young, they were all highly professional and are a credit to the venue. It was very clear that they had done this many times before as it all came so natural to them. A special thank you to Heidi and Georgina for making the day run exactly how we wanted it too.
