I arrived at my hotel starving and not knowing where to eat so I took a gamble and ordered from Damascus cuisine on foodhub and I'm so happy I did. The ordering was easy which is what we all want...but the service and the food was up another notch. They politely called me to check my order was correct as Id ordered chips when chips were already included , other restaurants would have just sent the over order right! Then they asked if I'd like cutlery as they were aware by my address I was in a hotel...I said yes, I hadn't thought of that. My order arrived exactly when it was meant to, the driver called me when he was in the foyer, I didn't need to go out and my food was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. I've not ate it all because I'm full and I'm actually looking forward to having some more later.... Everything about my order and the service from start to finish was perfect. Highly recommend. 10/10.

Damascus Cuisine is a hidden gem that truly brings the flavors of the Middle East to life. From the moment you step in, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel at home. The menu is a delightful mix of traditional dishes, with standout items like the tender shawarma and perfectly spiced kebabs. Each dish is beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the authenticity of the cuisine. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always eager to offer recommendations and ensure a wonderful dining experience. Whether you’re a fan of Mediterranean food or trying it for the first time, Damascus Cuisine is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return!

I’ve tried their Ramadan Buffet, and I had to go multiple times after. Incredible home quality food served in large volume. Their rolled grape leaves aka Yabraa is so tender and well cooked. They have their signature broasted crispy chicken that is a popular choice among people. They also have a generous variety of rice dishes next to lamb, chicken, etc…. They offer Mediterranean Salads, and few versions of soup that alternate daily. All of this to end with delicious desserts made with love by the incredible boss lady chef. I love this place, and I love the kind family and team who runs it. You get a really great value for the money.

This place is alright. The atmosphere is nice and feels very cozy but I hate how I had to walk through a run down Hookah lounge to access the restaurant which was a bit of putting. The service was nice and the staff were welcoming however after we ordered it took forever for the food to come and we were waiting for at least 40 mins for the food which was disappointing. The makloubah is VERY underwhelming like I expected the makloubah to have and an array of vegetables on top of it with an aromatic, flavourful bed of rice underneath it. This was not it. The rice was heavily saturated in ghee/clarified butter making it greasy and there was only fried aubergine and some lamb mince place on top. It was also very bland with not many flavours being tasted. I also order the lamb shanks and the were incredibly overpriced for the price they were being sold for. Again there was many flavours going on and I was left again disappointed. However I will say the broasted chicken is delicious and juicy. It was spicy and flavourful and I know why it is the most sold item but I Google it and broasted chicken originated in Wisconsin (America) so why is a traditional Syrian restaurant selling an American dish and labelling it as their best dish like it doesn’t make sense. I think this place needs to rebrand themselves as a broast chicken place as the Syrian food they sell isn’t amazing but the broast chicken is and they could really promote this dish as their signature dish because of how nice it is. Also do yourself a favour and do not order the Syrian ice cream is it disgusting. I ordered it and it tasted of ice and freezer burn. It felt like the ice was sat at the bottom of the restaurant’s freezer for a good while which was extremely of putting. I was trying to be polite but I couldn’t resist to send the dish back. But not after I got a mouthful from one of the waiters about how the ice cream is fresh and how he tasted it and it tasted good. Like take the plate back; I don’t like it. I get as if this waiter was telling me off for not liking the food and ruined the overall experience of the service I received however he did take it of my bill which is to be expected. This restaurant isn’t worth going to unless you’re getting the broast which everyone it the restaurant at the time I visited was getting. I feel disappointed and I know that I should’ve check more reviews before coming to this place as I’ve seen that the owner of the restaurant gets very defensive and rude when a negative review is written about their restaurant. This restaurant gets a two star only because of the chicken and the...

I called one of the employees to inquire and make a reservation at this restaurant, and I asked about some things that I heard from some of those who visited before me, but the employee did not like my inquiry and hung up without even saying goodbye. If I was dealing with a restaurant or a company whose owners are English and I gave them some feedback, they would have listened to me until the end. But unfortunately, because I spoke to her in Arabic, she did not respect me at all. I hope that you will appoint a non-racist employee to receive calls.

After your reply: Thank you for your response. The lady could have respectfully refuted the criticism I heard about your restaurant without hanging up in a rude manner. Your restaurant was my first choice because it is close to my home, so I wanted to respectfully inquire with you, but I was shocked by the way she responded. She clearly said that she does not want customers like us, so I decided to look for another...
