Domus Italia Didsbury — Restaurant in Manchester

Worst decision ever by visiting this place . Firstly,I myself cook very good food ,and make Italian food sometimes at home but today was feeling like to eat out.I was willing to go to some other place which I know is good but my hubby wanted to try somewhere new it was his decision and which I agreed too. I don’t mind if the food is good ,but later on I realised he took the wrong decision wrong decision becz he choosed the wrong place . He always choose the wrong place , undoubtedly his fault, without going through any reviews he likes to pop in and takes the risk. Anyways, we popped in and ordered one soup of the day and 4 dishes. Out of which one dish didn’t arrived .And they claimed the price fr it and my hubby When going through the bill later had to mentioned it to them that the olives didn’t arrived . Terrible service . Then they cut down the price from the bill. well I knew from the atmosphere itself and told my hubby they were taking so long I’m sure it will not turn out good .And my prediction went right. . All the dishes including the soup ,everything taste bad . I forgot the names but one dish came with cheese sauce and bread which I didn’t consumed becz I didn’t wanted to have bread but my hubby had it and he cudnt finished becz it was very very salty. He even mentioned it to one of the stuff members .Secondly , one tapas was Gambas rolled in bacon.. no flavour terribly salty and very very bad I had just one which I had to dispose in napkin. And other one was calamari in tomato but frankly I thought it was fried calamari but it was not fried it was just the squid cut like onion ring and it was hard chewy and not good ,again been in my napkin from mouth, and fourthly my soup of the day was potato, carrot,celery and frankly I never had such bad soup in my life. It was tasteless no salt in it ,blend ,flavour less ,terribly bad . I was really angry while having my food and angry at my husband at his decision of visiting this place. I somehow had the soup by adding g salt and pepper and finished that and then I had no option but just watch him eating and ,frankly he didn’t enjoyed it too through his expression I can make out but he had to finish it becz otherwise it will all be disposed and his money will get wasted .payed around £26 fr all these bad food and with empty tummy reached home . Finally ,end up cooking dinner Whole Roasted Chicken with roasted potatoes and chicken gravy and vegetable Quinoa on side . Will not refer this place . Come at...

Purchased some of the groceries they have in store server forgot to pack the items called them same day gave transaction time got the impression they expected me to return to shop I live significantly far away . Manager promised to call me or email me next day to confirm the refund and also to give me 20% discount for the inconvenience which I never asked for either. I did not receive a call had to then call back the Wednesday again I was promised I would receive a call I didn't I then had to call back again I don't have my refund a week later and still no phone call. Mistakes happen but the rudeness and how they have ignored me as a customer is shocking. This afternoon I went to casa italia and I ordered two hot chocolate. I already know this place, and as soon as I entered no greeting, no one seat you in the table, all the tables are creammed each other and the lady seated us in a small table where I was tight with someone sitting behind me, but very close to me that I barely move. So I moved to another table myself. The hot chocolate came and it was good, but not too good as the Italian hot chocolate must to be tick and the hot chocolate I had was pale and milky, but the taste was good. The price for two hot chocolate was exaggerate 8 pounds. No customer service at all, no prices displayed in the items they sell and all the tables were dirty. It is a small place. It is not difficult clean 4 small tables and if you do this job, you must have a good customer service. I work in a restaurant and I know very well the job.
