Avoid this place at all costs. One of the worst dessert places I’ve ever been to. I ordered a ‘blondie’ cookie dough, people who had ordered quite a while after I placed my order, got their orders before me, and I was sat there, waiting for a long time. Actually being able to give the order was a whole different headache. It took a really really long time for someone to come and take my order, and when the person came there was no hello, or any kind of customer service, it just looked like he couldn’t be bothered. When I finally received my order, the cookie dough was hard and chewy, it was as if it had been left in too long, or my only other guess is, that it wasn’t fresh and it had been made a while before. I took it back to one of the people who work there and they sort of laughed in my face and said that ‘this is how it’s supposed to be’ and ‘it has always been like this’ which isn’t true at all, I’ve had cookie dough from the same place and numerous other places and it hasn’t had that consistency at all. He then asked ‘so what do you want me to do now’ in quiet a patronising way, to which I requested if I could get something else instead, he really didn’t look happy about this. I then ordered something of the same value which was a kinder bueno waffle. It was actually quiet quick this time, but the waffle was COLD. It was mushy inside as if it was raw and it was also cold which lead me to believe that it was probably an old waffle that had been put to the side earlier on in the day, and just to be spiteful, he gave it to me, because there’s absolutely no way that it was fresh. Owning or working in a business requires a lot of skill which includes being polite, and accommodating towards the customer, while also maintaining professionalism. There was none of that here, everything was below satisfactory. Will never be coming here and would strongly advise against anyone spending their money in such a...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting Belgian Waffle, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the sweet aroma of freshly baked waffles. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to satisfy my dessert cravings.
The star of the show, of course, was their Belgian waffle. It was a masterpiece of crispy yet fluffy perfection, drizzled with the finest Belgian chocolate and crowned with a generous scoop of velvety vanilla ice cream. Each bite was a heavenly symphony of textures and flavors, and I could hardly contain my excitement with every mouthful.
What truly set Belgian Waffle apart, though, was their commitment to quality. It was evident in the attention to detail, from the carefully selected ingredients to the artful presentation of each dish. The menu offered a variety of mouthwatering options, ensuring there was something to satisfy every palate.
The staff at Belgian Waffle were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. They took the time to answer my questions and make recommendations, which only enhanced my visit.
In summary, Belgian Waffle is a dessert lover's paradise. Whether you're looking for a sweet treat to brighten your day or a cozy spot to indulge in waffle perfection, this place has it all. I can't recommend it enough, and I can't wait to return for another delightful...
Read moreCame here for the first time recently. Although a small store, I was very impressed with the deco and the way it looked. Quite unique in terms of its looks and has a nice modern feeling around it.
As for the desserts, I ordered a Brownie flavoured Cookie Ball, Ferrero Rocher Waffles and a Red Velet flavoured cheesecake. All were presented in a unique style as to other dessert spots as they came in boxes, all served with Mr Whippy ice cream, whipped cream along with sauces. The Ferrero Rocher Waffles were very tasty, the Waffles were light and had a good aeration to them, coated in the chocolate with the bite of the nuts, served with Mr Whippy ice cream which was one of the best I've had. Light, smooth and with a great scent to it. As for the Cookie Dough Ball, very chocolatey and indulgent, definitely one for the chocolate lovers. The Red Velvet cheesecake was the most disappointing out the three as I expected better. There was hardly any base to the cheesecake, it was really thin and the cream seemed to have been overwhipped, very grainy texture, didn't have the smoothness it should have had. Overall great desserts, would definitely go with...
