POT KETTLE BLACK - Terminal 2 — Restaurant in Manchester

I flew out from T2 on 31st May 2023, had to be at the airport for 5.00am so thought I'd grab breakfast at the airport.

Really busy and most concessions were rammed. The queue for PKB was the shortest. My wife got herself a coffee and ordered me a bacon sandwich. I can't remember if this sandwich was £6.00 or £7.00 but either way I dont think I have ever felt more ripped off.

What arrived was some sort of squashed greasy roll about the size of a McDonald's hamburger roll. It's contents were two very small pieces of Streaky bacon that were that dry, it was almost bacon dust.

How anyone can think its acceptable to serve this up is beyond me, but to charge such extortionate amount is...

It was unfortunate this place was such a let down. Waited almost 20 minutes for a bacon sandwich. Really would have appreciated them saying they were backlogged with breakfast orders so I knew the wait would be so long. They emphasize giving you an order number yet just call the name of the food out instead of the order numbers so everyone is confused whose it is. Finally received mine and headed to my gate only to realize they gave me the wrong sandwich with food in it I’m allergic to. Way too overpriced for what you get. Queued for 25 minutes in a relatively short queue. Service very, very slow. 2 staff refilling & unloading stock & only one girl on the till & also making coffee. When I queried getting a 'still water' from the fridge the woman filling the fridge snapped 'I'm doing it now'. A warm bottled water did not appeal, so I passed on that purchase.
