The food itself was great, and the first staff members I spoke to were very kind and welcoming, which is why I’m giving this place two stars instead of one. However, what happened next completely ruined the experience for me and my mum. After we were seated, we were handed the menu and decided to order two lamb doner wraps. On the menu, the wraps were clearly listed at £7.50, while the plate meals were around £15.50. We wanted the wraps only, so I specifically pointed to the £7.50 item when ordering. The waitress then asked about sides, and I asked if they had fries. She said yes and mentioned adding one plate of fries separately. Then she asked what about the side for the other doner wrap, I said I didn’t want any sides except the fries, but she said it was fine, that it comes with it and that it was included in the price. So I told her to bring the rice and fries along with it. She never once explained that she was actually putting through the more expensive £15.50 plate instead of the £7.50 wrap. When the food came, we noticed all the extra sides and realised she had charged us for the pricier dishes. In total, the bill came to £44, when we expected it to be around £21. The issue isn’t the food, it tasted great, it’s the dishonesty. It was our first time visiting, and being misled like that left a really bad impression. What if we hadn’t brought enough money that day? It felt manipulative and unfair, especially since I clearly pointed to the cheaper option on the menu when ordering. Sadly, even though the food was nice, I won’t be coming back because I can’t trust the way we...
Read moreI am a shawarma lover and visiting each an every shawarma place in 60miles radius of Manchester. So far I have tried Chicken shawarma and Lamb Shawarma Doner(for a first time to be from meat and not minced) It was great, well done.
Visited for takeaway food.
What I have liked about this is that once the shawarma is wrapped then is put on a charcoal grill to get some really nice smell/taste from it,I have tried similars before but this was the best regarding the charcoal smell/taste.
What us inside the shawarma- Chicken doner meat or lamb doner meat, Little bit green salad,a bit red cabbage ,onion ,red not very hot chili sauce and garlic sauce.(I had the option with everything to see what they normally put inside) all this in a wrap which was ready made(not prepped in the shop like naan for example).
Prices are good £7.00 shawarmas / £13.45 doners.
Doner will come with rice or fries, bread with susami and a separete salad including tomato in the salad, separete garlic sauce and chili sauce in plastic container.
What I havent liked about them are the sizes, hence taking off 1 star.
I had to eat 2 shawarmas in order to be enough for me for dinner,
I am happy to pay few quid extra but to have sufficient quantity meat inside,so I can be done with 1 instead of 2 -will definitely point this out on my next visit !
Would I recommend it,yes...
Read moreOrdered take out which took almost two hours to arrive and we waited patiently only to find out most of it was missing. Called the restaurant to see what happened with the order, turns out there was another bag which they had forgotten to give to the driver. Rather then fixing the problem they caused the woman on the phone was rude and told us to call uber eats to get them to send another driver. Surely that is the job of the restaurant to be arranging for our food to be delivered. The woman had no customer service skills at all and all she could say was we should pick it up ourselves. If that was something I wanted to do then I would not have ordered online and paid extra money for delivery. She Refused to let me speak to the manager and kept saying they don’t have a manager and they are busy and hung up the phone on me. If they couldn’t meet the demands and don’t have a driver then they should not be offering delivery as a service. We never received our food or any...
