Today I went to a Kurdish restaurant, and once again, I had a terrible experience. The food was badly cooked, and the service was just as bad. I ordered chicken wings and lamb kozy, but both were not properly prepared. The food didn’t taste right, and it definitely wasn’t fresh or hot. I’m really not happy. A few months ago, I had the same issue and complained directly to the owner. Nothing has changed. They clearly don’t care about fixing the problems. This time, when I checked my chicken wings, I found blood inside. I called one of the workers over and asked him, “Can you check this? Would you eat it like this?” And he said, “No, I wouldn’t.” But when I asked if they were still going to charge me, he said, “Yeah, of course.” Then, when they brought my rice, it was cold. I asked if they could change it, but they didn’t care. I usually like biryani, but they gave me plain white rice, which I don’t even like. I didn’t get what I ordered, and they didn’t bother to make it right. This place isn’t about quality or customer satisfaction. They just want your money. They don’t listen, they don’t care, and they definitely don’t serve proper food. I strongly recommend that people stay away from this restaurant. Don’t waste your time...
Read moreMe, my mum and sisters came here for lunch. A really nice little gem of a restaurant hidden away off Wilmslow Road, quite small and casual. The lamb shank was soft and tender, complimentary soup was delicious as was the chicken tikka served with fresh naan bread and salad, if it came with a homemade sauce or chutney it would’ve been better. If you’re going for the mixed grill platter the lamb meat was on the tough side and hard to chew, so we didn’t really like it to be honest. But that’s your own personal preference, I prefer my meat soft and tender. The only downside I would say was that the toilets weren’t clean and were unisex and there were no desserts available at lunch time to have with your complimentary tea. Overall a pleasant experience and there were an array of fresh dishes to choose from. A very reasonably priced lunch, we were...
