Caution warning - enter new York Krispy levenshulme at your own risk and if you want to compromise your self respect and want wrong order . I had went to the shop and had ordered food for my family of over £30.00 pounds . It's not the first time I had dealt with staff wearing cap and glasses on front . He has great skills to be rude and atrocious with customer ,but this time it had went beyond comprehension. That particular staff had made no greetings and before even taking order demanded cash . Surprisingly he did not put cash in till and took 30 pounds opened till and put it in his pockets ?? I had challenged this and he said you can leave if you don't want to order . Felt as if I had come to a foreign country then he started speaking in foreign language to other friends as if I had asked him something very unusual . He had hurriedly in insulting way took order and said it will be 20 minutes when restaurant was not even busy . Eventually I got food and requested for sauces to which he demanded more money on order worth 30 pounds and this time card machine was working perfectly. It was absolutely degrading and unacceptable service . Worst part is when I got home ,the same gentleman who prepared my order totally messed it up by giving less items . I had called as I live 4 miles away and over the phone I was told I was lieing . New York Krispy levenshulme is so far worst place I had ever been to and I have learnt lesson . The outside stands out and looks inviting, the inside is very nicely decorated with a feeling of originality and cleanliness. I ordered a chicken burger meal and it came out smoking hot straight out the fryer, you could just tell it was fresh, real chicken not the frozen stuff you get at wholesalers for £5. The meat was well cooked, so much that it was juicy and tender, and the breading it was coated in was something special, notes of different herbs and spices floated on top my tongue providing unexpected delight to my taste buds! Now the chips? They were good quality, not the flimsy, soggy type that you get at most places. These are what chips should be; salted, hot and crispy with a thick fluffy centre and especially with the seasoning that came on them that I can only assume was made in house because of its surprising addictivness, these came to be some of the best chips I, personally, have ever eaten. Yet that wasn't the only addictive thing on the menu as the chicken burger itself was coated in what's supposed to be the restaurants signature sauce Now, only one word for the sauce EXCEPTIONAL it provided an extra depth of flavour, not that the chicken itself needed it as it was already beautifully seasoned, it provided a party for the taste buds to enjoy; sweet, salty, smoky, tangy all in one! And balanced perfectly to the T. Condiments were a tub of chili and mayo sauce which tasted nothing special but overall alright.
