Nom Noms — Restaurant in Manchester

First visit and unfortunately won’t be returning. We seen it advertised over Instagram and looked really good but unfortunately really hyped up. Food was ok but expectations weren’t nearly as we expected. Customer serves was dreadful . Asked for particular items out of our burgers and came with it in , I don’t think I could trust this place with allergies because they don’t seem to listen to requests from their customers. As we was dinning in we waited at our table and normally your food gets brought to your table instead it was shouted out for us to collect at the till a little more customer service wouldn’t go a miss. Also food came separate chips on one plate and burger on another . The ketchup bottle clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while and put me off how clean the place is. There wasn’t even any cutlery for us to eat our food with. Whilst we was eating sounded like a fight was about to break out in the kitchen and swearing now sure what happened but doesn’t look good. On arriving at the store I was welcomed by a person staring at his phone for 1 minute watching what was obviously some entertainment video.

I finally placed my order and eagerly waited for the loaded fries to arrive. After waiting 10 mins I was given a plastic container smeared in cheap watery cheese.

As I scraped away the cheese I found half cooked chips and 1 chicken strip that had been cut into 10 pieces.

After taking my first bite I felt compelled to complain to the assistant behind the counter. Unfortunately the attendant was still far too enthused with his phone to acknowledge my existence at the counter

After finally getting his attention and communicating my disappointment in the meal I was dismissively told that "this is cheapest meal on menu at £5.45" and in essence what else should I expect.

After I placed the full box on the counter and told the assistant this was not edible his response was "no worries" and he sunk his head back into his mobile.

Apologies for the bad review but have to be honest here. By far the worse Beef Gourmet burger i have had in my life and that is something because all i eat outside is gourmet burgers. Its a shame because overall the place looks nice and the guy on the till was really cool.

I think the guy who made the burger just needs a lil training on what a Gourmet or smashed burger is. First thing is the bun used was nothing like the ones shown in your pictures, it wasnt a briosh bun usually used for beef burgers, there was no Tomatoes inside or onions, no seasoning on the patties either, just the old soggy lettuce used in £2 cheeseburgers.

If you are going to charge £9.97 for a burger it has to be good. I really hope you guys take it as constructive criticism and improve the burger as theres definitely potential.

It was heartbreaking to bin more than half of the burger, thats the first ever time i havent finished a beef burger by the way.
