Ordered delivery via Just Eat and was very disappointed.
THE BAD
The Japchae was 95% noodles. There were 4 thin strips of carrot and 4 thin strips of courgette then NOODLES. I expect more from a stir-fry than noodles.
The chicken teriyake didn't taste like it had been marinated. The taste wasn't nearly strong enough. It was basically chicken and rice with gravy.
The ETA provided by them was 20:05, food was delivered at 20:40 - and they charged £1.50 for delivery...
The phone number on Just Eat is a mobile that goes to voicemail. Google has the actual restaurant number which I had to go and find for myself.
Including the delivery fee it was £24 for two dishes; one was chicken with boiled rice, the other, noodles and (lack of) veg. For what we got I feel this was massively overpriced.
What Just Eat doesn't tell you on the website is that this premises is a bar/restaurant. The food was red hot on arrival - great! - but then clearly didn't take an hour to get here. They must have been prioritising face to face customers for the ETA to be so far off the actual delivery time. I get that, just don't tell me it will be here at 20:05 when you know it won't.
THE GOOD
When I called the restaurant to see where the food was they were very nice, very apologetic. The driver was very apologetic too.
ALL IN ALL
Perhaps the eat-in experience is better but the teriyake chicken could have been a ready meal from a supermarket. The glass noodles in the other dish were tasty and authentic but there was practically nothing else in it. The delivery was really late. The food was expensive for what it was. I'll look at...
Read moreThe food was outstanding, from the perfectly portioned & masterfully put-together Maki rolls to the sizzling dolsot bibimbap and still bubbling Jjigae. Every part of the meal was generously portioned and very clearly made with great care.
Korean food has a special place in my heart for a number of reasons, one of them being the great sense of warmth and comfort it brings to you and out of all the dining experiences I have had of Korean foods in the UK this is probably one of the best places outside of London to grab a tasty plate.
The menu was very reasonably priced, so much so that we were in shock when our bill can to less than £45 for 6 plates and drink.
I really can't recommend the food here enough. The service staff were attentive but unintrusive and very accommodating to special requests. Me and my partner agreed on the way home afterwards that we had both found a new favourite.
Vegan and vegitarian options were plentiful and more than equivalent to non-vegan options and my only issue was that the ambient music could have been abit louder. Other than that, it is a fantastic restaurant and I will be eating here much more in the future.

Read moreBest date night in ages, we’ll be back! The atmosphere and decor of this place makes it look as though it has just been renovated, but apparently it hasn’t, it is just very well kept. It is immaculate. With its pale peach walls, rose copper light fixtures and large murals, the restaurant is chic, and well lit thanks to an array of mirrors.
I was welcomed by Mikey who had already seated my wife and our drinks came quickly. The service was perfect.
The food was absolutely amazing. We started with the Karaage chicken, some salmon and avocado rolls, and some tempura veg. Wow! The flavour of the chicken was delicious, didn’t even really need the dipping sauce, and the sushi was very fresh, clean and authentic. The tempura was nice when accompanied by the dipping sauce. For our main my wife has pork Bibimbap with a chilli sauce, and I had BBQ pork garnished with pickles and another delicious salty sauce. Phenomenal.
Drinks wise, my wife had traditional green tea, and I had this ginger and caramel mocktail which I can highly recommend.
Finished off with some mochi which was very tasty. Thanks Mikey for making our visit...
