SADAF — Restaurant in Manchester

This the best grill and tandoori restaurant in the most competitive place for food in UK and probably in Europe. Today I returned with my family to have a dinner in the curry mile, I picked Sadaf as I wanted to show my kids and family the place I used to have dinner every day when I was student 15 years ago. I left Manchester in 2008. As soon as I crossed the door, the owner Ali recognised me and was pleased to see me again. I was also very happy to see he managed to grow and maintain his restaurant despite the many deep changes and fierce competition. Guess what we had the same authentic steamed tasty rice with tandoori grilled chicken, bee and lamb. The standards and the service were maintained high. When I asked for the bill that was for 4 people, the owner said I was on the house as he was pleased to see a loyal customer coming back after all those years. I was too emotional to say Thank You properly and fully express my gratefulness, but here I can say not only the food is Authentic the people are also Authentic. Visited Safaf after many years. Noticed it had been refurbished since my last visit. It was clean and had a great atmosphere. They had toilets, which were clean, and although they were upstairs and the area was closed, the nice brother in front allowed me to use the facility. I ordered the mix of kobeda and chicken tikka on nan to eat in and was truly amazed at the freshness and flavour of the food. Although I like my food with some spice, this food wasn't. However, I wasn't disappointed, I loved the charcoal taste and how tender the meat was. The chilli is freshly made, and the brother topped us up when requested without any hesitation. Sadaf is a true gem on Wilmslow Rd amongst all the new hype of burgers, etc. Prices are also reasonable for the portions received, and the service was great. am writing to express my deep disappointment with the way I was treated by one of the staff members at Al-Sadaf Restaurant. The employee was extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful—not only towards me as a delivery partner but also in general behavior that reflects poorly on the restaurant.

He acted as if he had full authority to mistreat people, speaking aggressively and trying to intimidate me. It felt like he was given the power to kick customers out and treat others with disrespect without any accountability.
