This pub looks great from the outside and has the potential to be a fantastic pub. As you walk through the door the positive first impressions are quickly damaged by the instant smell of stale smoke despite the fact we have a smoking ban. The place needs a good clean. The decor is very old and the whole place is very run down inside. This wouldn't really matter if the feel of the place was welcoming and a good atmosphere. If you can do without your phone or swearing then it is a nice enough pub, prices are cheap and it has a warm fire. 2 stars as the lady made me...
