This place was recommended to us by a family friend, and I should have listened to my inner gut, but the missus was overdue an outing as we hadn't been out for absolutely ages to being very unwell. And the kids tagged along too so it was a family event. It's in Stockport, so it was a bit of a drive (like 45 mins) but it's not a bad drive; felt like an airport drop-off tbh! The section of Fog Lane where the takeaways are is a small stretch but it does have street parking, and there is a variety of food shops and dessert places as well as a convenience store. So it's ok for those that like a dessert after their meal. Sent my boys in with the order, got 3 Naga Boss Boxes with 1 of the smash burgers changed to a chicken burger, 1 Stando Box with chicken burger instead, and 1 smash box. So if you want a chicken burger instead of a smash burger in your box, it's £1 extra. No probs I thought. I'm not a smash burger fan, neither is the missus. Drinks are £2 each so we got cheaper bottles from the convenience shop just a few doors away instead. It's a shame it's not included with the boxes. Total food cost was £71+, drinks £9 for 6 bottles, so it wasn't a cheap outing, and that's without dessert (though we drove to Wilmslow Rd and got the original kulfi on sticks instead!).
The food: not gonna lie, the box was a lot, and in reality, unless you're a big eater, it's enough for 2 sharing. Cheesy chips were decent, the naga wings were ok. My son was thinking he was going to have a new hole burnt through by the naga spiciness the way the server was telling him; alas, it was barely spicy, and my kids and the missus were left very disappointed. If you've ever been to Philadelphia's in Manchester on Cheetham Hill Rd (Philly's), then their spicy sauce is literally red chilli flakes in a bit of water, so the missus was hoping it to be at least that level. Nope. They said it wasn't even as spicy as your general spicy dipped burgers, so our naga experience was very disappointing. The chicken burgers were wide but not very thick like Philly's, and I wouldn't have even minded that fact had it been anything better than average. All in all, disappointing, and there was food left in every box which we brought home. Not sure how lots of people in the reviews said it was really spicy...did we just get an 'off' day, not sure, but it was busy when we ordered, and the staff were generally polite and the food was ready in about 15-20 mins which is very acceptable. They did have some pretty condensed seating and high seats only, so not suitable for a wheelchair user to eat in, plus it did have a step to get in too. Electric chairs definite no. Nice boxes, well packed, sadly not the hype we were led to believe, so we will have to try inner Manchester or Bradford for another proper naga box. I'm contemplating trying the place opposite called Chefs Platter, so if anyone would shed their view on that, I'd be grateful. If all else fails, the new Shake Bee's in Bradford is a great...

They actually serve some really nice food, but the people running the place and serving customers do not have a clue on how to run the place. Especially when it comes to serving the customers. End of the day, let's be blunt, the customers are paying your wages. I think we all would agree on that.
You have items which you sell on the meal deals but won't sell separately. When initially enquired about it, I was met with a very aggressive person over the phone. Telling me all sorts, that the chef can't do it, and they can't pack it, its not on the menu etc. Then add it to the menu, it's simple, hardly rocket science to fry some chips and drizzle some cheese whizz (melted sliced cheese) on the chips.
Having manners is a big thing, even just to be a nice human being. The brothers there are of practising Islam like myself. However, they have no adab (manners) whatsoever. I feel really underwhelmed and disappointed with the level of service I recoeved this evening, especially the phone call at the end.
The person who spoke with me, had no intention of listening to my query but responding back with baseless excuses and has the audacity to ask me, did I enjoy my food? I literally called the place soon as I opened everything to enjoy with my family. I didn't even begin to eat and the person asks me if I've enjoyed the food, how sarcastic can you get with a customer? I actually travelled 29 miles for the food. Thats how good the food is, or maybe cause we have very little to offer from the village we live in, off the outskirts of Halifax.
In the end, I'd recommend the place for a one off, but never again. The people there are outright rude. They have no social skills, and they walk around with a chip on their shoulder.
Really disappointed on how it was handled, sad to see brothers who look like their practising but their manners reflect back of ugly, distasteful and ignorant bigots.
I have just read the response to another person's review, I am not surprised on how the response was. Instead of offering to rectify the concerns raised by the customer, instead the customer is bombarded with insults. Clearly the owner doesn't respect the customers enough nor appreciates the fact that his business's lifeline is actually from the paying customers. I will be sharing screenshots of the response from previous customers and share them amongst my friends and family to comment upon. It's absolutely disgusting the way the owner has responded. I am actually looking forward to what the owner says to my...
Read moreWhat can i say! Three Brother's was one of those places i boasted to everyone i know. I send a lot of people to their place. I travel regularly over 25 miles to have Three Brother's as its one of my most favourite place. However they have been very dissapointing tonight for me. There has been odd few times before i got little underwhelmed with the food i got but it never put me off to that extent or stop me going. Tonight After watching a video on social media, I confirmed about a munchbox with Naga donner, smashed burger, wings & cheesy fries. Despite confirming all that on the phone, i got smashed burger which lacked usual taste. Fries with only 2 lines of this cheese sauce, (its called cheesy fries it needs to be coveredin cheese) I got Standard donner (not naga) and luke warm wings. I rang them immediately from my car outside their shop and told them what i got, i was told thats what served in this box which to i replied, On the phone i confirmed if it was naga donner which is one of the reasons why i go there & it was confirmed on phone. However they didn't deal with it as a solution. I even said, just give me some naga sauce on the donner, they refused but said we will sort it next time. Im here in front of your shop. All you had to do is, just exchange just the donner with the standard donner. Its not rocket science to solve a complaint. Unfortunately the customer service was zero. I threw it all away. All i want is, what i asked for on the phone which is something i paid for. Simple! Why offer me saying i will sort something for next time. What next time? Rectify the order now while I'm here. Common sense! I don't want a freebie. Then my daughter found a hair in her meal which she rang and they exchanged it. We made sure we returned the box with hair.
What has happened to this place? People told me, it's not same anymore and its on a decline. I was in denial and said, naah. Its one of my go to place. Despite me noticing it's not busy as it always used to be on my previous visits, it still was a brilliant place for me. Now i definitely understand why its in decline. The way they dealt with my issue is dissapointing. Knowing im a regular who travel from bit of distance to only have a donner kebab.
Also the my family said, their naga donner hardly had any naga flavour as usual.
The management needs to notice these things to maintain the hype and success they started off with. I know many more regulars like myself, being dissapointed and...
