Tondori Royale — Restaurant in Manchester

This is the worst Indian restaurant I have ever been to. They've made us wait over half an hour for the starters, they didn't even offer us poppadoms (which they did to other tables). We had to wait over half an hour again for our mains. When they did finally arrived my friend's chicken curry was just barely heated in the microwave, cause it wasn't even hot and my butter chicken was extremely sweet (mild shouldn't be the same as sweet surely!) and jelly like texture, which makes me think it wasn't even cooked at all. When we mentioned it to the staff, they did offer to fix it, but we had lost our patience with all the bloody waiting. Nothing was deducted of the bill either when it arrived. I’ve been visiting Tandoori Royale regularly on Thursday evenings with my daughter for a few years now, and it’s safe to say this place holds a special spot in our hearts. The owner and the entire team are always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience.

My daughter absolutely adores this restaurant and confidently rates it as the best ever! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s not just a meal out; it’s a tradition we cherish.

Been visiting this restaurant for many years, same owner and still some of the same staff along with new replacement staff who was also very friendly, helpful, always made to feel very welcome and looked after, good old style traditional Indian restaurant & service which is sadly very rare these days , they do a good value set meal with poppadoms chutney tray, good selection of almost all the traditional Indian starters and mains, had the mixed starter and a chicken jalfrezi😋, pilau rice and plain nann followed by a kulfi pistachio ice cream.
