The Fletcher Moss Food Truck — Restaurant in Manchester

Asked the guy on the food truck (which is what it is, not a tea room) if he could do a salad wrap (there are wraps on the menu and salad). I don’t usually ask for things that aren’t on the menu but the vegetarian choice wasn’t huge and I thought a salad wrap was a simple ask. He looked at me as though I’d asked for the moon on a stick and suggested he do a vegetable wrap. When the “vegetable” wrap came it was a pile of soggy shredded white cabbage with three slices of pepper. Had one bite and I’m not even sure why I did that as it did not look appetising. As suspected it wasn’t nice at all and I didn’t eat it. My daughter had an nduga panini which had a minuscule amount of meat on it. My mum insisted on taking the wrap back and was met with a shrug. *I am leaving this review for the food I received from The Alpine Tea Room when they provided catering at the Lakeland 100 event in Coniston.

Due to the fact it was late when I finished the race and was unable to get reasonably priced food in Coniston, I ordered a '6oz rump steak burger and fries' at a cost of £13 from this company. What I received was a small burger with a piece of cardboard bacon on top, both of which had clearly been cooked some time ago as it was handed to me almost immediately and was only warm. These were in a stale bun that fell to pieces and were accompanied by about 10 undercooked, soggy french fries underneath the burger.

I frequently visit fletcher moss to walk my dog, I have been tempted to stop by here but usually carry on into didsbury and pick up a coffee from there. However today I thought I would give it a go. Firstly the girl working behind the till seemed very cold and not pleasant/friendly at all. Maybe an off day? But I can see other reviews sharing the same experience.

Mostly the coffee was terrible! Insanely overpriced for that quality of coffee: I they even read their reviews I would 100% recommend to change their coffee beans/whatever coffee they use because it was disgusting.
